I’m not liking this. I didn’t like faction ships in lockboxes, but the JJ ships made sense being there. Fans have been screaming for a top tier Connie for years, and you reward that with getting the ship on chance? Not cool. This is too greedy for my taste when it’s obvious you would make money selling it straight out.

Yea, I almost when with the stock pylons too. But I wanted to make the ship look more like it could hang with the other 25th century ships, so I forced myself to go with the swept back pylons. Not a fan of them myself. I just tell myself the extra impulse drives makes it a faster battleship.

Canon wise, this game just don’t make much sense with these big ships. Like I said, I’ve always wished it was more RP then MMO. So I like sticking with something mid-sized.

Very nice, but I’m not liking this move of Faction ships being in lockboxes. Granted, it being from the newer movies and all makes it lockbox worthy.

You know, I was thinking. A control scheme like Neverwinter would be awesome and enjoyable. It’s one thing I’ve always liked about that game. Just a handful of commands.

Well, I see this after talking about it in game. I don’t mind starting up another character. I knew servers would be split, which doesn’t put me off outside of not playing with the fleet. But I have a friend that got to “taste” the game and loved it, just no PC to run it. So I will have him to play with.

My only hope is that they will cater to the Lifetime members when the game releases. Not that I use too many of the items from the perks, but it’d be nice.

Either way I’m going to give it a go. I really hope the control scheme is simple. Time with it will tell if I stick to it or not. My PC character won’t be going anywhere and doubt I will let dust settle on it. Too much investment, nearly $700 easy for the ships and the lifetime.

Not a fan of TOS, I grew up TNG. But I know this makes a lot of players happy, so I’m glad for them. I’m just still patiently waiting for a re-do of the Sovereign to wrap me back in. Sorry for being MIA, been doing a lot of training with work and such.

The 7th Fleet has a mission like this. It was a top foundry mission around K-7. I think it’s title 7th Fleet Intro or something, if you want to explore ideas some more.

But I’m all for the project and would be happy to contribute any info if you need another body for the mission.
