Hey Palcioz, is it possible to have a draft version of forum posts saved in background, or something like that. Balthazar recently lost a wall of text after a web page crashed.

Also, there were some issues with ribbons (Marcase talked about it on discord, I’m not sure what it was), and “Ranks” and “Points” tabs appeared on member profile: https://startrek.44thfleet.com/members/damix/points/

I guess we should have seen this coming after romulans were allowed to fly fed/kdf ships. Few years ago I was against the idea of combining factions like this – I wasn’t happy when they gave Leech console to feds, for example. Over the years we have seen more and more examples of faction merge – either by giving us same story episodes or by having access to same equipment (reputation, lockboxes).

Now I don’t mind because it just adds more options to people that want to play that way, and I’ll continue using Fed ships on my Fed character. For example, my Reman captain is still flying warbirds, although he has access to Kdf ships.

Maybe we see Cryptic creating more warbirds now that more players have access to it.

Good to know. Have you re-engineered the beam to add some CrtH modifiers, to go along with its CrtD proc?

Can anyone using advanced phaser/disruptor beams comment on their performance after the nerf? Are they worth upgrading, and how would you rate them compared to spiral wave disruptors and other beam arrays?

You can still complete any content with 2016 year ships. I mean, I still use the Iconian 2pc space set so don’t worry about having outdated gear.

It will probably be overwhelming to see all the new reps, admiralty system, endeavor system – but take is easy. Try the new story missions first. Enjoy the game and don’t worry about the grind.

Hi Ilqo, welcome to our forum. Glad you find those guides useful – if you’ll have any questions, you can post them here in the reply. We also have a member-only section of forum so you’ll find more topics with builds there, when you join.

I think you can join fleet at level 5 with fed and kdf, and around level 10 with other factions. Yeah, you can get decent equipment for free from missions and events, and it is more than enough for pve content. Alien character gets that extra trait slot so it is the best option, in my opinion.

Good to know, hopefully they rework and return the xp on kill, with less impact on the game performance. As Stone noticed in game today while leveling ship in Argala, this makes the starship mastery bar to appear as if it didn’t progressed at all. He gained ship xp after leaving the map.

I’d go for the Tzenkethi Dread Carrier, it is a mw ship so extra universal slot is a nice bonus – you could go for 6 spire tac consoles, or something else if it supports your build in a better way.

About Valkis, it is too wide and flat for my liking so I don’t want to even look what stats it has. Although i’d use it to hug other ships. ^^ But people find it beautiful so it is all about the taste.
