Fleet is still active, and we recently had a 10-year fleet anniversary event that lasted through september. Fleet now has a discord server, and third fed fleet was created at one point (44th Gamma Fleet).
It is easy to earn dilithium thanks to Admiralty system, and all event rewards are account unlocks so there is no need to grind anything with your alts, maybe just dilithium if you want to refine more than 8k dil. New content is now mostly Discovery based because it is current tv show. Not sure how much you are familiar with in-game stuff introduced after you stopped playing – if you have any questions, type here.
I sadly stopped playing my romulan alt, although I bought scimitar 3-packs (tier 5 and 6) and several other warbirds. Maybe I’ll play rom ships with my main char, although I haven’t done that since they allowed it. Oh well, at least I’m not running out of options when doing admiralty tasks.
Which rom ships are you looking at?
I have invited both characters you mentioned in your application – if you have more alts, let me know and I’ll send them invite too. There are no rank requirements to have your alts in 44th. There are only limitations on how many of them you can move to 44th Fleet/44th Delta Fleet once you reach Commander rank.
Romulan ships are no longer exclusive to Romulan faction players. You can pilot both c-store and fleet romulan warbirds. Exception are lock box and veteran romulan ships.
Before that, there was a change that allowed romulans to fly tier 6 fed/kdf ships.
Hi Rob,

Join our 44th chat channel “44th-diplo” by typing the following into the chat window: /channel_join 44th-diplo.
This is used to communicate with our 44th Fleet, 44th Delta, 44th Gamma and our 44th Assault Squadron (KDF) – we don’t use the in-game fleet channel. We are four fleets acting as one.
As a new 44th Fleet Ensign, you will be stationed for 6 weeks in the 44th Gamma Fleet (KDF’s go directly to our 44th Assault Sqn). For a promotion to Lieutenant and fleet store unlock, you just need to meet 2 requirements:
1) Must have either logged into the game or posted on our 44th forum at least once during the review period of 2 weeks (which starts today);
2) Must be in good standing with the fleet. The fleet rank of Commander can be reached after 6 weeks, after which you can move up to 2 alts to 44th main fleet and/or 3 alts to 44th Delta. Promotion schedules can be viewed on our Trello board, with dates marked on the calendar.
Full access to the 44th forum has now been unlocked, feel free to look around. Please bookmark this forum to keep up with Fleet news, and see the most recent quarterly State of the Fleet to catch up.
We are on twitter and use Discord for voice (not a requirement, but recommended).
Need some help with STO? Check out our FAQ, starting ship builds and mechanics guide to help you on your way.
As a mature, no-drama fleet the 44th caters to casual and hard-core players, so I’m sure you’ll fit right in.
Welcome aboard!

Yes, check the B’Tran Cluster colonization chain. It should reward rare aux2bat Technician in the end. It also unlocks doff assignment that rewards you a very rare version if you crit..and it is repeatable.

Welcome to the fleet everyone! 🙂
There will be a meeting on DS9 this saturday as part of our september fleet anniversary event – join if you can. Check the /link/ for more info.
Nice! I highly recommend you sign up to that page because Elite Service Starter pack is worth it. And although it may not seem special at first, but Federation Orion female is an extremely rare item – I once sold it on the exchange for 90 mil ec. They are currently going for 110mil ec. This giveaway will maybe ruin the price, so I count on players making them bound to char as they won’t be able to resist it.
Cyberin wrote this on Discord today. Writing it here to make sure Palcioz is aware:
“now this is fun: going to the fleet forums: The requested page/file has been classified as a malware site by our border firewall and therefore blocked by the Information Security Office for your safety. If you feel this page has been blocked in error, please contact…”
