As a new 44th Fleet Ensign you will be stationed for 6 weeks in the 44th Delta Fleet, (KDF’s go directly to our 44th Assault Sqn). For a promotion to Lieutenant and fleet store unlock you just need to meet 2 requirements:

1) Must have either logged into the game or posted on our 44th forum at least once during the review period of 2 weeks (which starts today);
2) Must be in good standing with the fleet.

The fleet rank of Commander can be reached after 6 weeks, after which you can move up to 2 alts to 44th main fleet and/or 3 alts to 44th Delta. Additional alts may go to 44th Gamma as well. Promotion schedules can be viewed on our Trello Board, with dates marked on the calendar.

They revamped a lot of old content so everything looks and functions better than it used to, and future is bright with some Klingon-centric content on the horizon. It can be grindy, but that is a choice so enjoy the game as much as you can.

Feel free to ask any questions here on forum, discord or 44th-diplo chat channel. Good to see STO is still attractive to new players, I hope you will like the game and this fleet. I was supposed to just try this game, as it was my first mmo, but I kinda got stuck for years, heh. We really are a casual fleet as it is written somewhere so choose your own tempo and just have fun playing the game – may it be a good stress-relieving tool. Welcome to the 44th c:

Although A2B builds on this subforum may be outdated, it is still good direction for Yamato. You would need 3 a2b technician doffs for this, which may be expensive, but you can start with rare variants, and then do the “support B’tran colonization effort” chain to get that “Ten of ten” very rare technician(s).

Do you have the Arbiter? I see its console slotted, but not ship trait. Depending on how much EC you have, you can check the exchange (filter to rare quality and search “trait”).

Since you have the Trilithium-Enhanced omni, you can replay the Beyond the Nexus mission for Reinforced Armaments eng console, which is enhanced version of the EPS Flow Regulator you already equipped.

Once you get access to the fleet stores, prioritize getting the Vulnerability Locators (phaser dmg + crit change).

Fleet weapons already come in ultra rare quality so I think that is a good option if you don’t mind sacrificing mod for proc. I personally wouldn’t try upgrading very rare mk2 if you already bought the fleet weapons because difference in damage wouldn’t be noticeable.

Hello Danny, welcome to the 44th c:

Can you check if you wrote the correct in-game name @ handle? I’m getting an error when I try to invite you. For example, mine is:

Alternatively, if your character is Fed faction, and still not lvl.5, that could be a reason why I can’t invite you. If you have a rom/tos/dis/jem character, you have to progress the story to a certain point, before you can get an invite.
