There are some skill-trees posted in Builds section by Blackout and Fatman. I haven’t touched it yet, hope to play with it this weekend.
It may be this ESD officer has financial issues, maybe trying to earn extra EC by working double shifts so she applied as your bridge officer. Could be she lost someone during the Iconian War so debt now goes on her and Ferengi near the tailor is watching her, he wants to extract that money. It all makes sense now. 🙂
Great idea and initiative! 🙂
For this or future mission, I suggest U.S.S. InDubioVeritas or NPC character Tyler Durden in respect to our former fleet member David, who passed away last year.
I also think this is great opportunity to expand 44th’s lore. We have some history written on our website but there are no details so this could be counted as canon if everyone will agree.
Looking forward to play this mission and find those easter eggs, hehe. I also have an idea for one if it is not too late, or maybe in the next episode. It is an internal joke that could be really great to see. ^^ I can send you a pm about it.
If there is anything else you need, let us know.
Next on menu: Batman vs. Superman story aka Marcase vs. Sargon 🙂
Well said, Marcase.
About statistics, it is interesting to see jump in activity during the First contact giveaway week. It is expected, of course, but first time I see the actual numbers.
Choice of his weapon mods show he actually is going for effectiveness but balancing it with visual appeal. I’m also doing it on my main sci because I fully switched to Tetryons to match the ship theme and I’m still getting good dps out of it. Blue beam and white ship skin looks really, really good to me (Paradox class).
Which color is Experimental Proton’s beam? They could be paired with Heralds (both violet?) and supported with +Beam consoles, which also boost the Proton’s proc (correct me if I’m wrong). Ok, this is a bit crazy ^^
My choice would be Polaron mix as it is new and I still haven’t tried Chronometric pieces. I even got some Vaadwaur DBBs but haven’t upgraded during THE weekend.
Vorgon? Not familiar with them. This could be lockbox that mix several temporal/out-of-this-time species.
There could be some kind of Star Trek 50-Anniversary event, but it is not likely Vorgon ship would be part of it. (T6 Connie ^^)
March 18, 2016 at 7:03 am in reply to: Fleet Experimental Science Vessel With Tactical Build #164089Hey,
I would replace Tachyon Beam I for Science Team I as you have no shield healing abilities, although it is probably there to make combo with torpedoes to have hull exposed before you launch them. Haven’t tried that so can’t tell.
Although I would probably swap turret for crafted omni beam, I see that you are aiming for the 3pc bonus which is boosting chronometric torpedo proc. With T:Spread and High Yeald, Projectile Crit Severity boff it is wicked as Marcase said and interesting. Very offensive PrtG build, I’d like to know how this performs.
I have 5x Herald Antiproton Beam Array Mk XI and one Mk VI [CrtD] [Dmg]x2 that I can mail you if you want to try upgrading them.
Hm, good idea Jalif, I’ll try beam+cannons polaron SS build on my main. Do Chronometric weapons get [CrtX] on Ultra Rare?
Tried this two times on TBN and it really works. First time there were two of us going through the wall, and as we didn’t knew how far we have to fly to activate the second part, we got lost. Other player gave up but I hit the alt+tab to check the video again – we just had to go a bit more forward so it activated at 96% (not really helpful), but it felt like exploration, hehe.
Here are more images of the Na’kuhl ships. I don’t remember their ships from the ST show so I’m not too thrilled with having one. But if they will have Strategist boff seats and access to new powers, that could make them unique so who knows. : )
Na’Kuhl Warfare Specialists, that sounds like a doff? or could it be boff?
Here are more images of the Ferengi ship. It mentions Battle Module 4000, which is similar to Battle Module 3000 from D’kora. So are we seeing t6 version of t5 ship?
Threat Control is new skill that is going to replace Starship Threat Control with the revamped skill tree with 11.5 update. It will give +100% Threat during Threatening Stance, -100% Threat outside of Threatening Stance. So if I understood it right, you will have Threatening Stance off as default, but you can turn it on if you decide so.
Strategist spec here is giving some amazing passive powers to Threatening Stance. Of course, that would mean some of currently activated primary/secondary specializations would need to be replaced but it could be nice alternative.
This is my Marauding route:

I position my character on boarder of this 4 sectors and just circle there. It is near Ganalda station in Archanis Sector if I need to turn in my contraband. If I’m on some other map/quadrant, I usually use the mission transwarp to Drozana in sector space (Donatu Sector), do marauding missions and then continue to my usual route as seen on the map.
I have Kdf Romulan Tac alt which I intended to play as my dps character, but I’m usually playing PvE content with my Fed Sci main. I created two more Kdf (Tac,Sci) characters just to do contraband missions and one of them got gear upgraded and is mostly played during the CCA/Mirror/Breach type of events. There is also Fed Eng who I haven’t played until I started using her in rp story, now she is getting gear and shiny stuff too.
With 3 contraband farmers, I could buy most of the new ships I was interested in and it never felt like grind.
Thanks for the info. I haven’t studied new skill system enough to contribute with suggestions so I have only ideas of what could be good. Having a guide on this topic as 11.5 goes live would be really helpful.
Should we invest into Weapon, Shield, Engine and Aux subsystems? I have 3 or more points currently on most of my holodeck toons – I’m guessing Power Transfer Rate and other subsystem boosters are enough?
I’ll be joining the PvP, just need to recheck the rules. I have ships to join most of the fights.

Wow, just one point?
Yes, so it leaves extra point(s) to allocate somewhere else if you want to copy your current build. Although I would probably want to max it out if possible. Just to make it clear, 1 point in upcoming skill tree does not have same value as 1 point in current skill tree.
I’d also like to know how much change with aux power affects sci builds. But yes, higher cirts have effect on sci builds and exotic damage powers.
