So there’s a possibility of a black female being on a starship bridge? Inconceivable! I couldn’t care less about color or sex unless she is sessy but if the character isn’t strong so what. In the end what does it do for the show dynamics and the overall quality?
Great write-up. Thanks!
The current viewing options simply mean that I will not be able to watch it via legitimate means. Way to go CBS.
I might take you up on that later! I’ve played pretty much all of them a good number of times, with some exceptions so that’s where I will probably ask for help. For now I need a little help with the sections someone would be interested in which are basically repeated for each.
ALSO KNOWN AS – I think this is good, to help reduce confusion.
REGION – Of course.
EASE OF COMPLETION – I am really wanting to promote some que’s which the fleet pretty much never does that, in my mind, are really easy or quite efficient for the time/rewards. Along with a recommended difficulty level (char level and equipment permitting)
FAIL CONDITIONS – For sure!
OPTIONALS – ? maybe only if it would cause failure? or maybe list how much difference it is with/without the optional in marks? would this help encourage running a particular que or essential information? thinking maybe to club with rewards instead of a seperate section.
REWARDS – ? this is listed in STO, but trying to give a good rewards/effort or efficiency if you should need particular marks or drops
EXPECTED RUNTIME – if you never ran it, would you want to know in advance? times can vary greatly by teams, and if you just QUE it, etc.
SUMMARY: This is the guts, so of course this should be good. There might be questions of how much is needed, or the level of detail, etc. but that will need to be specific to the que.TYVM resto! I will aspire to keep writing.
Now that I’ve never used LOL.
To go gold you simply pony up either $200-300 for LT there was a sale but it might have ended recently. If you go monthly, I can tell you it does not make sense to pay the subscription beyond a month just to get the basic benefits for subscribing so if you should do that make sure to cancel. The LT has enough benefits to make up for those that I’ve talked to that bought it but personally I am silver and it has no effect on fleet status whatsoever other than maybe admiralty promotion but who wants that crappy job anyway?
Not anymore, although there was some discussion about a mumble server but I haven’t looked into it seriously. The main “issue” is that STO lends itself to people just doing there own thing and its hard to have a conversation in that context. In the STF’s that we run, it just isn’t needed. /shrug
Congrats, Sargon!
I had in mind just “in a nutshell”/essentials/”what you NEED to know” rather than a complete walkthrough series, although hints, tips, tricks, or links to more advanced strategies might be good too. Just so it doesn’t get too long! I don’t want the reader to have to wade through a mountain, just the simplest possible assessment – enough to get primed for the mission without needing to be there or type everything out over and over. I think it could also be a recruitment tool as well, although indirect.
I threw something together for ISA, it got a little larger than I’d like but there are a lot of moving pieces LOL. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1kZEKOVhlua-5onxxs9FeLI7nxmrnlceuFeNxcFKRv2s/edit?usp=sharing
Rule of acquisition #1: Once you have their money, you never give it back.
Speaking of talent, check this out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DRyk6jg-tQs
Somebody should send a cyborg back in the past to take out the resistance leader… wait a minute I did that! With Starfleet 0718 Model Android Off! Yes that’s his name I didn’t bother renaming him lol
Interesting, another way to earn free Zen… can you share what the rewards/effort is like? Definitely not an Arc fan, but if the rewards are nice enough… I do like free things! 😆
A noble effort, but as stated it’s really unnecessary. Simply by being active you can earn free ships, or grind up the resources needed to acquire that which you seek. Marcase frequently posts giveaways for posting a screenshot (personal favorite activity of mine actually LOL). The fleet has hosted many many giveaways as well and I’m sure that will continue. Additionally the willingness to improve himself isn’t really evident in the forums here. Without the drive you really won’t get anywhere anyway.
Get a cheap build you can enjoy or just tolerate as long as it is effective, and grind that dilithium every day with every toon and you will have more than enough resources to have a good bit of fun and maybe even get some really nice toys! Got Q’s? You know where to go for that – right here! the 44th diplo channel is great but the forum is way better for reference and getting other very knowledgeable people helping too.
