believe it or not, I got to “thinking” about these delta recruits.

if we all create a FED delta recruit and join the 44th we will be at maximum capacity in no time. delta recruits on KDF side should not be a problem.

i am recommending that FED delta recruits join the SLD (Strategic Logistics Division). this will make it easier for you to “contribute” fleet marks, etc and will help us beef up the SLD.

this is your fleet, so please share your thoughts about this.

Agreed, the SLD has ample opportunity to earn fleet marks and the 44th main less so, being maxed out and such. Also, with adequate provisioning (which I foresee will not be a real issue) an SLD alt can be invited to ‘main’ fleet facilities and buy fleet gear without trouble.

Maybe in time the SLD will be renamed 44th Delta Fleet ? 😉

I’m still dubbing what to roll, obviously a KDF Rom Tac will be a superior DPS build (Scimitar, access to Plas Leech, contraband etc etc), but with Reciprocity / AHOD plus the myriad of Delta Fed ships – nevermind Cryptic’s strong and overt Fed favoritism – I’m leaning to another Fed and I always needed a tac to complete the ‘triangle’ of sci-eng-tac.

I’m already stocking up on certain resources and keeping an eye out for those XP doffs, even started to craft some low level starter space/ground gear for this new Delta recruit. Better save now than grind later.^^

A fed of some sort? Sure, I picked up a temporal jumpsuit that’s sitting in my account bank just for the occasion. Looking forward to ramping up another new character. Ridiculous; They want to give me presents for doing it 😀 ?

I was considering creating a KDF character, simply because I only have FED right now. If there is need for more chars in the SDL, however, I might think about it some more But I haven’t decided on a career or race yet.

we don’t need more members in the SLD we just have more room in the SLD.

a fleet can have 500 members. in the 44th we typically have about that many, so no room for new members. routinely we have to “kick” inactive players to make room for active ones. of course anyone kicked is always welcome back.

the SLD was created for farming alts and a place for new members to start.

the KDF probably has around 350 members so plenty of room.

create the character you want and we will accommodate. 🙂

I will probably make a KDF Gorn or Romulan(KDF). Don’t plan to invest much time in it as that would be my 5th character I have.

This is totally fine with me. Apart from VERY occasional store purchases (like…four or five items total between five alts), they have no need to be in the main fleet, and I know I can alwqys switch them back and forth to do that whenever the time comes. I’ll likely be creating a fed Romulan this time around. Probably Sci again. Just always seem to be drawn to the caster classes, whether they’re effective or not!

I haven’t created a fed character since well before the tutorial and mission revamps (the vast majority of my toons are roms) so I’m planning on making a fed, I’m debating on Andorian because I loved Shran or Talaxian for the crafting materials bonus.

Going to level a Fed Science alt, so i have all 3 in Fed flavor + My KDF Rom alt.

I think I’ll go with FED tactical or science. I’m not sure yet which one to chose, because I already have ROM tactical (FED side). However, I’m more fond of escorts than science vessels, so I’ll probably go with the first choice. Might as well make a KDF character. Who knows

Yes, just ask around and someone will throw you an SLD invite.
