- Why join the Mighty 44th? I recently got to lvl 65, to be prepared for the late game content I feel this is the right time to join a fleet. Further, this is what MMO games are all about. I was invited to a couple of fleets but was always hesitant to join. I followed some beginner\’s guides provided by 44th Fleet so I checked out the website. I am very fond of the organization of the website and the administration of the fleet as addvertised! It is only logical, in the more advanced parts of STO to join a fleet and my choice is to go with the 44th!
- Tell us about yourself: Hi, I just recently came back to playing STO after some absent time. I used to be max-level but was never into acquiring serious gear or participate in any sort of fleet business. This time I want to dive a little bit further into the matter. This is the only game I play on a regular basis and so far I have only one character. I’ve never felt comfortable with other MMOs despite the fact that I do enjoy the social aspect very much!
I just purchased the Eternal – Temporal Multi Mission Science Vessel from the C-Store and am currently trying to get all the gear for a DPS/Control [EPG] Torpedo build.
I am very addicted to Star Trek ever since I saw my first Episode of TNG back when I was a child. Star Trek accompanied me all my life so far. Professionally I am a Quantum Chemical Researcher. That should say it all.
I am looking forward to be part of this great Fleet.

Join our 44th chat channel “44th-diplo” by typing the following into the chat window: /channel_join 44th-diplo.
This is used to communicate with our 44th Fleet, 44th Delta Fleet, 44th Gamma and our 44th Assault Squadron (KDF) – we don’t use the in-game fleet channel. We are four fleets acting as one.
As a new 44th Fleet Ensign you will be stationed for 6 weeks in the 44th Gamma Fleet, (KDF’s go directly to our 44th Assault Sqn). For a promotion to Lieutenant and fleet store unlock you just need to meet 2 requirements:
1) Must have either logged into the game or posted on our 44th forum at least once during the review period of 2 weeks (which starts today);
2) Must be in good standing with the fleet.Full access to the 44th forum has now been unlocked, feel free to look around. Please bookmark this forum to keep up with Fleet news.
We are on twitter and use Discord for voice (not a requirement, but recommended).
