There have been very strong hints that there is a T6 Odyssey on the way, and that they have “something special” planned for it. If you like that design (I know it’s fairly polarizing, I like it quite a bit), it might be worth waiting to see what comes out of that.
The Mac client is completely broken at present — won’t even begin launching, and seems to affect everybody, which really makes me suspect they didn’t even bother to test it. So it may be a while before I see you all in game.
Thanks Marcase! Let me know if you stumble across a cache of parts for mid-80’s Saab 900’s…I know Denmark isn’t Sweden, but I gather the cars were popular throughout that part of Europe :). (I’m joking, I couldn’t have the parts shipped anyway!)
Things are definitely slow right now, and not just in our fleet — prices on upgrades have dropped some 20-25%, so I have to assume people have largely stopped upgrading gear while waiting for new stuff. I’m just puttering around getting alts repped up so I can stockpile some dilithium for the next lockbox. Will see you when I see you!
Humbug! You sadden me!
I expect Omega will win, and at this point, it should, as it’s the only design other than Delta that is plausible for a carrier. But Delta was the one I would have been willing to spend money on. Oh well!
The Magnetic Fields: The Death of Ferdinand De Saussure
http://youtu.be/LAkYGV2YmdcNice — back in the early 80s I had about a half-dozen of their albums! Didn’t know they we still active.
Today: Throwing Muses, “Bright Yellow Gun”
Delta looks to me as if it would scale up to a large size well. Also, the huge saucer and the spine on it kind of hint at a move toward Universe-class design elements.
That Weezer video is so much fun. Marcase, your selection won’t play in the US! But I enjoyed your wife’s.
Today, The Weakerthans: The Reasons
There’s another DDOS going on. They tend to get the word out fastest via Twitter (follow @trekonlinegame).
