Greetings 44th!
Here is your 35th Sunday Supplemental for March 7th 2021.

Welcome aboard and feel free to ask questions! Again, thanks for flying with the Mighty 44th! Also, don’t forget to join the 44th-diplo channel by typing: /channel_join 44th-diplo
This is how we communicate between our (4) Fed and (2) KDF fleets. It isn’t a rule or requirement, but things will seem very quiet in the fleet without it.

Fleet Housekeeping
I don’t have a lot as far as fleet housekeeping this Sunday. The Fleet continues to hum along thanks to all of you!
I will note that the 44th Fleet continues to be a very active and growing fleet as you can see below! Just over half of all characters are active, along with half of all accounts. We are also still seeing new members join each week!
Just a quick look ahead towards First Contact Day:
Last year we got some really nice goodies including a great science console. The event is likely to go live around April 1st, so stay tuned for official announcements in a just few short weeks!

44th Fleet Ships Registry Project
Note:
This registry will then be closed, and a new one started in a few months.
Originally this ship/captain list was intended as a resource for Roleplaying/story telling, as a reserve to pull from of actual ships in the Mighty 44th. It kind of ballooned from there. The next one will be more like a yearly snapshot of most popular ships at the time and will have a separate layout, including registry and @account names, but that’s for later.

Pro-tip and just as an FYI to our newer fleet mates, during ground combat, crouching and aiming does more damage and can trigger extra buffs.
When on a ground map, copy paste the following in your chat bar:/Bind x ” crouch 1 $$ aim 2 ”
(note the spaces between the ” ” )
When you press x you will now both crouch (you’re harder to hit) and use the aim/sniper mode (making you hit harder). It’s adviced to crouch/shoot as much as possible.
You can either create a dedicated ground keybind for this, or just simply Mail this in-game to yourself so you can copy paste it everytime you need it. 😉
