Greetings 44th!
Welcome to the 31st Sunday Supplemental for Feb. 7th 2021.
First up is the traditional welcome to the newest 44th Fleet Members. Thanks for choosing the Mighty 44th!

This is how we communicate between our (4) Fed and (2) KDF fleets. It isn’t a rule or requirement, but things will seem very quiet in the fleet without it.

Fleet Housekeeping
Our newest KDF Fleet still needs an official name! Submit your entry (or entries) via the link below by end of day next Wednesday, Feb. 10th.
I have to say that so far the entries are really really good…. It is going to be tough to vote for just one.

So….housekeeping…..
Right now the focus is mainly on getting the new fleet up and running (which it pretty much is) and looking into setting up a character limit for the Main KDF Fleet like we did with the Fed Fleets.
It will likely be something along the lines of a (4) character limit in the Main KDF Fleet. There likely won’t be a limit on the new KDF Fleet for a long time….unless something crazy happens with the roster.
So once we’ve looked over the numbers and everything is official… It will look something like this:
If you create a new character and end up bringing them over to the Main KDF Fleet permanently, we will check to make sure you aren’t going over the character limit. If you have more than the limit, we will ask that you swap enough of your least used characters to the new fleet so that you meet the limit. Swapping characters (as with our Fed fleets) only apply to members with the fleet rank of Commander or higher.
All new 44th Fleet members with KDF characters are already being invited to the new KDF fleet. The time based promotions will stay the same with the KDF Fleets. 2 weeks (14 days), Promotion to Lt. and access to fleet store. 6 weeks (42 days) Promotion to Commander and able to move to any 44th Fleet (within character limits for that particular fleet) permanently.
Importantly, if you have more than the character limit in the Main KDF fleet, you can keep them there. We aren’t going to be asking anyone to move characters around unless they want to bring in more than their limit. That is when we will ask you to move a few out so that we don’t lock anyone out of the Main KDF Fleet.
The goal is to make the character limit as fair as possible to current members as well as future members so that all members can easier access to everything the 44th has to offer. As the new fleets grow, unlock holdings and generate provisions, these policies will become a lot less important. Right now though, the Klingon side of the fleet is just going through the normal growing pains that our Federation fleets did…and still do somewhat. Its a good thing 🙂
Anyway, enough rambling about fleet rules and policy…..

Xaxial’s STO Hardcore Challenge!
Our own fleet mate Xaxial has put up a new challenge for fleet members Xaxial’s STO Hardcore Challenge!
There is a forum ribbon for anyone who can complete the challenge. There are quite a few rules (please be sure to read them) to make it a real challenge and it is very much based on the honor system, so please no cheating. Check out the links below for more info.
44th Fleet Sunday Speed Runs
Any fleeties need help with a particularly difficult mission? Or do you just need to speed run a mission a few times to get a full set for your build? Simply request a speed run in the 44th-diplo and we will get a group together to help you! Whether it be for farming drops or completing Endeavors, a team is only a request away!
