Greetings 44th,
To celebrate Jat’yIn Day next weekend (known as Halloween to some in the Federation), the 44th is organizing a costume contest. Tap into your inner Garak and design a scary, silly, or just plain weird Halloween outfit for one of your in-game characters, then post it in this thread. A fleet-wide poll will determine the winners, who will win a bag of treats (surprise items).
The default screencap key in STO is PrintScreen (check your keys under Esc/Options) and your picture can then be found in your \Cryptic Studios\Star Trek Online\Live\screenshots folder. Please crop your picture to show your toon only. After that, you can simply drag & drop your picture in the reply field of this thread (make sure the tab is set on Visual).
Everyone that submits a picture will receive a unique Halloween forum ribbon.
This contest is open to all 44th members and there are no real rules, anything goes, except it has to be your own toon and you may only submit ONE entry. You can submit your picture now until Sunday Nov 1st. We will then start a poll which will be open for 1 week, ending on Sunday Nov 8th, after which the winners will be announced.
In addition, on Saturday Oct 31st around 20:00 UTC (and if you’re not actually celebrating Halloween), we can join up and do some fleet runs of What Lies Beneath, aka Bonnie Kin, or any other ‘scary’ episode/mission. If there’s enough interest, additional fleet runs can be extended into Sunday for those that cannot make it on Halloween.

Well here is my entry, I picked something based off one of my favorite movies/books that always makes me think of Halloween, and this is also the debut of my New Captain – Kar’Loff of the U.S.S. Mary Shelley.
