- Why join the Mighty 44th? You appear to be active, with forums being posted to regularly, seem friendly based off what I’ve seen in the official forums and on your own forums, and have voice for members to use… I’ve just recently returned to playing STO after being absent for a while, and want to avoid drama and peeps who swear like a sailor…
- Tell us about yourself: I’m actually a member of the Grievance Gaming Organization, but they do not really have an active presence in STO… I’ve been PC gaming since the early 80’s, and have been into MMORPG’s of these styles since City of Heroes first started… And I’ve played a lot of MMORPG’s since then… I’m not a big RP player, but there have been moments here and there in different MMORPG’s where I’ve participated in it, but it’s not something I go looking for… I mostly enjoy playing STO with other folks who I can group with now and again or just talk with while I’m playing, why else play Multiplayer games…
I’ve been in other Fleets in the past, most I can’t remember their names from the early days of the game… The last two I was in were 12th Fleet in the Honor Guard (KDF) section, but they had some internal squabble a while ago and I’m not sure on their stability for returning to them… I was also in Grievance (FED) but as I mentioned, they don’t really have active members anymore (not for a few years)…
I’m mostly just an older gamer who’s looking for some mature and like minded folks to game with and talk with now and then…

Thanks for applying to the mighty 44th. You should receive your in-game invite next time you log in.
Join our 44th chat channel “44th-diplo” by typing the following into the chat window: /channel_join 44th-diplo.
This is used to communicate with our 44th Fleet, 44th Delta Fleet and our 44th Assault Squadron (KDF) – we don’t use the in-game fleet channel.
Also note our Discord voice server is available, but isn’t super active.As a new Federation Fleet Ensign you will be stationed for 2 weeks in the 44th Delta Fleet, (KDF’s go directly to our 44th Assault Sqn). For a promotion to Lieutenant and fleet store unlock you just need to meet 2 requirements:
1) Must have either logged into the game or posted on our 44th forum at least once during the review period of 2 weeks (which starts today);
2) Must be in good standing with the fleet.Full access to the 44th forum has now been unlocked, feel free to look around. See the recent January State of the Fleet to catch up (December here.)
As a mature, no-drama fleet the 44th caters to casual and hard-core players, so I’m sure you’ll fit right in.
