Another money grab before the new ships released. I bought an Arbiter last night and feel bitter. 😀
Oh what bad timing, at least you din’t get the fleet variants of some ships ( like me ), forgetting that i should get the T6 and a token :)) well they forgot to put the … bonus for the Zen, i wander when a new… bonus for buying zen will be ? 🙂

If I have to guess there will be a new ship soon, probably when K13 goes live. This 20% discount is often before such an event – just to make sure we use up all our saved dili/zen and have to buy extra extra with real $.
I’m not too concerned: from all the possible money-grabs this is the most harmless one…

Ship sales invite me to spend money but it’s putting the cart in front of the horse. More often than not it amounts to buying for the sake of buying and that is not a saving; That’s a loss.
If I buy anything during sales it is the already discounted ship bundles. If I have my eye on a ship and continue to watch it in spite of it not being a, “must buy” then I consider it. If I make a purchases during a ship sales my favorite is cross-faction packs or three versions of the same ship. The cross-faction packs give me some nice variation in play style and encourage me to revisit faction captains I neglect
The three version packs piss me off but I am compelled to purchase them because I want the costume parts to customize my ship. If I buy anything during this sale it will be the escort carrier faction pack or the T6 bortaqu’; The compounded discounts are enough to convince me I might be getting a “bargain” 🙁 .
For anyone who hasn’t yet purchased the Arbiter or Presidio (or KDF/Rom equivalents) for their ridiculous ship traits, now is the time.
As an add to blackout’s suggestion (which is excellent) if you play captains belonging to the KDF and Romulan factions consider the t6 battlecruiser bundle. 5k zen gets you the arbiter, kurak and the morrigu. If you are only purchasing this for the trait this opens it for every faction you play. The Arbiter and Kurak are both good ships but the Morrigu is an amazing beast that is just plain devilish.
