Greetings 44th!
Here is your 60th Sunday Supplemental for August 29th 2021.

This is how we communicate between our (4) Fed and (2) KDF fleets. It isn’t a rule or requirement, but things will seem very quiet in the fleet without it.

Fleet Housekeeping
First I want to wish everyone in Ida’s path safety and good health now and in the days to come. Ida isn’t making that easy I’m sure. Anyway, be careful out there. We are thinking about you all.
Its a pretty good bet that the Agents of Yesterday is coming back to PC on Sept. 8th. 2021… aka the 55th Anniversary of Star Trek. My advice is to create a Temporal Agent as soon as you can and get them past the tutorial. The rewards are too great to pass up! Here is a Link to the wiki page detailing the original event that took place back in August of 2016.
That being said, we are going to need some space for all of those characters. The truth is, even if the event doesn’t happen, we are fast approaching the roster limits on Fed side once again. So yep! We are likely going to need to make another fleet at some point! As usual, we will have a Name our Fleet Contest / Poll once the fleet is officially created. Anyway, more on that later.
Thanks to all who took the time to swap characters around the various fleets over the last couple of weeks! It certainly helped the roster situation out some. Remember that once you reach the Fleet Rank of Commander you can move characters around to the other fleets.
If we had our way, we would only have a 44th Fleet and a 44th Assault Squadron. But since we all love alts and Star Trek Online only gives us 500 characters slots per fleet we just keep having to make new fleets as we grow. Its a wonderful problem to have! 🙂

Lastly, I just wanted to mention that our Discord News room Bot is broken / not updating in a timely fashion. Unfortunately this is a Discord issue so there isn’t much we can do about it.

Reroll and Pass With Dilithium!
I am aware that this ‘feature’ isn’t all that popular with a lot of players. Personally, this doesn’t have much impact on my game since I usually torture myself and take the Endeavors and Admiralty missions as they come. But for those who aren’t fans of paying Dilithium for something used to be a random drop, I certainly understand where you are coming from. Judging by the tweet below, Cryptic is also now aware that this is not the most popular gaming feature.

I would also like to throw this in as a reminder (not that I think 44th Fleet members need a reminder) that each of us represents the 44th Fleet through our actions and how we treat others. Please don’t do what these folks did….

Your 60th, seeing some grey in the fray there Akula 🙂
And yes fleet, thanks with helping spreading your alts around – finding a spot for all your characters is becoming a bit of a chore but we try very hard to give all of them access to the good fleet stuff without any one getting ‘orphaned’ in a smelly damp corner on one of the lower decks of an “alt fleet”. We are several fleets acting as one, so there really is no difference if you are in Main (44th Fleet), Delta, Omega, Gamme, Assault, or the 44th Space Potato Division.
Agents of Yesterday does give some good extra’s and account wide goodies so create a new alt during this period: you don’t have to max it out all the way to level 65 even, just have it complete its tutorial and you can get back to it later.
A good way to avoid burn-out trying to level all your alts and ships is just switch them around and play a specific alt/ship a certain day or even just every (other) week.Remember this is all for fun, not another job!

I am not sure if I will make a Agent of Yesterday, since there will be no Klingons. I still have not finish my other Recruits, I love TOS so it’s possible, I was researching Andorians before my computers GPU crapped out.
