What is your CPU?
Also what is your RAM?
It is simpler to just add a new GPU and RAM. You can usually get away with the CPU but depends what it is really.

@rebnaiIf you need a more budget offering the GTX750Ti was introduced and I think roughly half the price of a GTX760 but obviously less performance. It doesn’t run SLI mode either if you were thinking of that.

In all seriousness, I played with Desk for years in EvE and other games since, we also played STO together at launch. Although he has forgotten his original account password so is having to start again from scratch, lol 😆
I will use commander power to invite him to fleet 😉
Can someone activate him on the forums so he can see member stuff?

Just as a reminder, to get a promotion –and thus access to the various Fleet stores– you must meet 3 requirements.
1) Must have either logged into the game or posted on these boards at least once during the review period of 1 month (which starts today);
2) Have an in-game leaderboard donation of 50,000 fleet credits minimum (either by one, or by your total alts combined);

@rebnaiNice one Marcase. Sounds fun and a good way to get the required numbers for those larger elites.
Delta Rising should offer some interesting new content and shake things up a fair bit. I for one always enjoy the most challenging aspects of play and striving to do better, I dislike content that becomes too easy (like wtf happened to CCE and I am sure a number of the Borg stfs got easier?).
I am already signed into the JF channel but it has been very quiet for me so far.
A couple of points that you probably already have in mind;
I would hope this remains as inclusive as possible, after all this fleet has always been helpful in getting players up the skill curve. I wouldn’t want an elite group to form if it becomes exclusive at the expense of others or too elitist in terms of gear requirements (there should be a sensible gear gateway not just “epic or gtfo”) or even going so far as to force people into specific skill sets for their BOFFs to get a place – by all means we should optimise our builds but don’t make it too much by rote, there should be some flexibility.
I would also hope that when making a more than 5 person group (i.e. 10-20 strong stf) we would always take 5 from our Fleet if available, only filling slots with those in an allied fleet if we couldn’t field a full 5 member team (assuming the minimum requirements can be met by the fleet member for joining).
If we can get enough people it would be good to have stuff running at other times than the weekend or at different times across the weekend (I know that I for one would struggle with say a Saturday evening).

I tend to PUG CCE and Starbase Fleet Defence on a regular basis for good, consistent marks. You actually get 65 from CCE btw.
Other than that I look to do Defera hard ground with a fleet team for 240 marks and Torn Minefield when it is on daily.

For the RMC Promo winners, we apologize for the confusion about the single character unlock versus the account wide unlock from today’s code. This is not a bug and is working as intended, so I hope those who redeemed the code unlocked it on their best/favorite character first.
Be very careful with your RMC! If you discard it you WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PICK UP ANOTHER EVEN ON THE SAME CHARACTER.

@rebnaiThat’s correct, a Delta Pack as well as some RMC and probably zen up for grabs.
Keep it on silent and spam key words when the horde do to avoid those spoilers.
There should also be a code everyone can use which will be unlimited for an unlock of some sort, possibly an R&D pack. Record it if you watch so you can pass it on to the fleet. 😀

@rebnaiMy focus is on my Federation Science Captain, T’Liis, as my main. When I first started playing at launch I created a human female Science Captain called Katy Janes who flew an Intrepid class (guess the inspiration?). However, I then was fortunate enough to enjoy the arrival of my little lad as a bouncing baby at the end of 2010 and I stopped playing STO for a couple of years.
When I came back so much had changed that I created a new alt to play the game through with, who ultimately turned into my main and has all overtaken the progress I had made previously with Katy J.
T’Liis is a female Vulcan Science Captain, shamlessly inspired by T’Pol (the lovely Jolene Blalock) from Enterprise. Using the character creator alongside a google image of T’Pol and Jolene’s stats (e.g. height) to get as close as I could within the limitations.
After maxing T’Liis I again took a decent break only coming back to STO in the summer this year and working my way through the new changes, including the LOR additions, the reputation mark system and the new R&D and DOFF systems.
I only have 3 ships, a science focussed Nebula (Fleet), a tactical focussed Chimera and my new Excelsior cruiser (Fleet). Currently really enjoying flying the Excelsior.
Li’ara is a female Orion KDF Tac. Recently hit level 50 and hardly spent much time with her at all, very much a casual alt to enable me to experience the KDF ships and storyline.
I have almost exclusively stuck to BOPs throughout the levelling process and rather enjoyed it as a change from what I am used to flying with T’Liis.
Kimara, another female and this time Romulan, also a Tac. Very much like Li’ara she is very much a casual alt with little focus who I am mainly playing to experience the Rom storyline and the different ship types. Also only just hit max level with her.
Not really feeling the Rom ships currently and still looking for the type I enjoy flying.
Finally, here is my token male alt who is an Engineer Captain called Quousi who is an Alien made in the image of a Bolian. Not much to be said, he is very back seat and occasionally I will level him a bit.
