Silly question, of those that are flirting….how many have knowledge of this before they started flirting?
Name without seeing the toon can attract attention, thats easy. Many other MMOs its normally the toon that pull in this attraction and name is 2nd. Given that I rarely see anyone from the fleet in the same map as myself, I can understand the irritation.

I wanted to try Wildstar, but their goofy anti-hacking code wouldnt allow me to login. Since my telco is off a cell tower it rotates IP, their code looks for this and forces a relog. I would sign in and within secs I was told to relog in again due to IP change. FROM the splash game login, wasnt even able to create a toon.
Month later, I heard they shut down. eh…

Agreed on the dev gone thing. I also think there is a new exec in the office thats trying to make a name. First the “anti-gold selling” rules, now this.
Someone either bought ARC games or they are looking to tighten up and make more $$$ or prepping to sell this off.
Be on the look-out for ban hammer for silly things, increase in dil costs to get ppl to buy more keys, dil market drop that will make ppl have to buy more keys for same old amount of dil, lower credit/dil rewards…I could go on.
Not sure on their licensing, that could be a factor. If they have an end date for sunset, this could just be a push to conserve $.
I truly dont want to see things coming to a close and hope i’m wrong. But I’m starting to smell a sell off to DBG.

waiting to see, I cringe when games go into this. Historically it hasnt be that good.
If they mess with the keys, this will hurt their sales, also this makes me think its less a gold-seller problem rather than a small gain money push. I havent seen spam in some time, I havent be up on the gold-seller/item markets for STO so that is unknown to me. As for many many games I have played over the years, this game has been low as for spam, hacks and other means.
I wish them luck, but I think they could be shooting themselves in the foot depending on what “this” plan is doing to items.
I am not cool with limited cool down to forever bind anything….

today i was able to get both boffs.
Only thing I am seeing locked now is the tac consoles. I belief that is still going thru unlock progress.

so wait, they are open for purchase? I too am seeing this blocked from purchase. I dont really play other toons and I have 2 slots open. I will check again to make sure.

Ya, I noticed that last week. I assumed that not all things are unlocked for the colony. I think tact is complete not Eng or Sci and then one those are completed I bet it unlocked another path to complete for the final unlock.

Fixed Wireless from ATT.
43down, 19up, WAAAY better than .8down I was getting with 2 isps and dual wan router.

Update, So I got word from an ATT worker in the local village here that ATT has just opened up Fixed Wireless to rural areas like myself where there is a void space of internet.
Called Sat to schedule install which is tomorrow (Thursday) , hoping with luck and no trees in the way I can get something faster than .8mb.
They claim to offer at a min 10mb with 170gb cap and of course $$$ if going over that cap. At this point it better than what I have and paying now for crap.
So hoping to get back into the game this weekend is all goes well!
