Got the closing done. Now with the painting/staining and installing fence then moving……joy.

Moved in, battle for internet though. Rural area, seems there is some crazy crap with who can service who in the area. Some say yes, get here and then its no dont do it or unable to see tower, etc.

Working from home MiFi currently, finally. Havent tested gaming but I dont think its going to be that great. Got another company coming out tomorrow to see it they can get me sat net.

Good to hear your house is done and you moved in, sorry to hear about your internet issues. Hope it gets resolved; in today’s world being and staying connected is unfortunately a must.

We’ll keep the hangar light lit for you for when you return and in your absence we’ll promise not to go joy-riding with your ships. Just, uh, ignore the minor scratch on the nacelles 🙂

Update, So I got word from an ATT worker in the local village here that ATT has just opened up Fixed Wireless to rural areas like myself where there is a void space of internet.

Called Sat to schedule install which is tomorrow (Thursday) , hoping with luck and no trees in the way I can get something faster than .8mb.

They claim to offer at a min 10mb with 170gb cap and of course $$$ if going over that cap. At this point it better than what I have and paying now for crap.

So hoping to get back into the game this weekend is all goes well!

Yes, finally able to play again.

Fixed Wireless from ATT.

43down, 19up, WAAAY better than .8down I was getting with 2 isps and dual wan router.
