However I might be interested in one in the future, perhaps as a shared account that can be accessed by all command staff (maybe in combo with Damix twitter ?)

Using fleet email address for 44th Fleet twitter? I’m fine with the idea of shared twitter account. I never advertised fleet in an annoying way telling we are looking for members, idea was to post something interesting just to show we are present. We have almost 200 followers there so it is a nice audience, but I’m rarely posting something.

Sphere Builder lockbox confirmed. German version of lockbox announcement was posted earlier than intended ^^

Hey SilverSera, welcome to the forum. I agree, Tal Shiar battlecruiser can be transformed into anything, and it has potential to be really good science vessel with 8 weapon slot + sensor analysis. Something I’ll be aiming for when it makes appearance.

Ouch, after clicking submit, posting was interrupted by log in page and post was lost. I’ll give it another try.

I like what you did with the holding page, it is an improvement compared to old one and it goes well with style of the new page. We could use pastel colors for red and blue for fleet names, following the lcars style:

44^th Aslt Sqd -> 44^th Aslt Sqd.

I used to sell stacks of 10 superior tech upgrades. Prices dropped but it is still nice way to earn EC.

Also, I remember having the whole Doff operation at one point, doing all those refugee missions where you get rare or very rare doffs, who are later sold on the exchange. I stopped doing it because it gets boring, so I’d rather change ways EC is obtained.

btw. I just saw tier 5 Nicor for 65mil EC, same with Narcine yesterday. I wouldn’t buy those ships as it seems they are slowly replacing t5 ships with t6 variants.

This is probably like Mirror Guardian they offered through Leeta fundraising, which had Command specialization, while C-Store variant had Intel spec.

Speaking of stickies, I suggest making Dilithium guide and State of the Fleet appear only to one or few subforums. Pages like Main Engineering or Recruitment Academy don’t need those topics. Fleet Tactics subforum has 6 stickies, which is maybe too much?

[Damix]

We could reduce the number of stickies if it will be needed.

When you’re on the Latest forum activity page, click on the name of the topic, which will redirect you to the corresponding post.

Or you can go to the Public Longue, and check the time of posting on the right side of the topic. It could help if there are some “flags” that would show unread topics/posts? I’m not into technical part of the forum so don’t know if that is possible.

Jim, all of the pictures from the last fleet contest are in the gallery at the bottom of the home page. Is that the content that you’re looking for?

Contest he is speaking of was on the old website, winning screenshots were placed on the homepage. But I agree, it would be cool to be able to see some of those galleries.

On Tribble server, K-13 is moved to the NW part of the Alpha Quadrant – Breen Sector, 20 Draconis system.

Hey Palcioz,

it seems that forum topics created on old website only have opening posts, and no replies. Since all replies can be found on admin dashboard, I’m guessing they just have to be connected?

Edit: should I post things like this to Main Engineering forum?

New website is live! Huge improvement, thanks for your effort Palcioz. 🙂

Banners are looking good up there, nice work. See you in-game.

I noticed that member ichie4969 has Guest rank (seen in this post) although he is a fleet member. I think he manually changed his name from Chubble, and that kicked him from the Fleet Member group. Can you do something to make group/rank permissions stay when name is changed? Or I could be mistaken and he never had Fleet Member rank.

Edit: his username was changed by one of the admins last month, but I just manually gave him new role so there is no issue here.

Edit 2: He used to post with username Chubble.

Thanks Marcase for running your monthly blog! 🙂

I did not explain it well. Characters created during that event could make a permanent account wide upgrade of reputation gear to UR Mk XIII. It is still available for players that participated. At least you don’t have to level up new character and complete 9 reputations, just upgrade the set you’re going to use. c:
