I like the look of the ship especially with the Buran skin, the KDF ship is just blah looking, I really dunno what they were thinking/smoking when they designed these disco klink ships, none of them look Klingon and look like they were designed for Stargate or Farscape or something else.

They better greatly greatly reduce the price of the T1 to T5 ships as they serve even less purpose now beyond skins and consoles.
“puts on cynical hat” I assume this is being done for short term gains, i.e people who play the game for a bit and then quit, they are hoping with these people being the ones who will buy some keys or a T6 ship before they get bored where as before they got bored and left before hitting the appropriate lvl. “takes off cynical hat”
Still its great for people who own ship and start new toons as you get to use scaled down versions instead of just plain old levelling ships.

On topic, 5 days with bonus tokens is at least something, 500 token is halfway towards the 1050 goal, so looks like if we complete every day we can get 1300 vouchers per event assuming the same for each event. Why not just have said this yesterday, suppose the are called cryptic.
My main concern was that it appeared they we being generous on one hand offering a free T6 ship that all players can get, which is a boon for people who can’t spend much or any money on the game, and then making the grind so that you have to play every day or you cannot get enough tokens, knowing full well that not all people can play every day and then saying oh you missed a few days and can’t get the free ship, here buy the tokens you missed.
We don’t want the game going down the EA path to the dark side.
It just reminds me of the Freeview ads we get in the UK saying watching TV is FREE, no subscription cost, oh yeah, so what’s this £150 a year TV Tax called the licence fee then, something you HAVE to pay to watch FREE TV lol
you can mail items to yourself via the in game mail, I have sent boffs, doffs, mats etc via mail but have never tried with a ship, I would assume it would work as I assume its a lobi ship that you are after and they can be bought by any one,as long as it not opened its not bound so should be able to mail but I don’t know for sure.
Other way would be for another fleet member with account bank to do transfer, ie, you on kdf side give my kdf the ec then I give you the ec from my fed toon to your fed toon.
Maybe Akula,Marcase,Sargon etc could do it so you know your safe lol.

I agree it is a good gesture and a step in the right direction to help out people who cant drop lots of money on the game I just don’t like the idea of them making it deliberately hard for said people to get the free ship and then pushing them to buy something to be able to get the free ship.
As long as there is enough of these “bonus days” so everyone has a good chance to collect enough vouchers then that’s ok, I just wish they would be more clear on things, instead of bonus day they should have given everyone an 200-300 extra vouchers for the first play of the event.
They also mention there will be times when you will receive double the vouchers (special weekends I’m guessing). That could help at least, though I do see your point.

As usual lack of detail from cryptic does not clarify when these bonus days will be and how many bonus days will happen, if there is say 5 bonus days per event then that should alleviate the situation a bit but it will probably be 1 day that falls on extended maintenance day lol.
The post also say the 3 events will take the game up to fall 2019, so are the events going to be once every 2-3 months or something, dunno what they classify as fall but isn’t it something like middle of September, that’s give or take 6 months, we get 1 event now then have to wait 3 months till the next, then another 2-3 months, maybe. That’s not really going to help people who cant buy stuff to get a ship anytime soon.
Kinda sounds like another way to push people to buy the inevitable z-store voucher pack.

The space catamaran is a wicked zippy escort. Just wish we’d get that fabled Risian bridge – would’ve come with a Jacuzzi (yes that was the rumor back then)
Zen ships means zen ships, but I agree it’s probably a T5. But those are still nice.Jacuzzi on the bridge, hope the controls are water proof lol
