Greetings 44th,

By now we’re half-way through the Delta Recruitment event, and we’ve seen a large cadre of new alts joining our previous Strategic Logistics Division which ramped up to full operational status and has been officially renamed 44th Delta Fleet.

The event runs untill May 21st, so there’s still time to get that extra Delta Recruit character – it’s highly recommended to have at least one, not just for the account wide bonuses but it’s possible that some future content will be Delta alt only – probably some minor things like an extra text balloon to be clicked but you never know.

We’re also pleased to see long-time fleet members returning. For you guys it’s especially a good idea to start that new Delta alt and see all the new revamped arcs and episodes and get the Delta extras along the way.

The new Iconian STFs are live now and it looks like Gateway to Grethor (Advanced) is the best way to make Iconian marks quick and easy – just close those radiation gates and FAW away!
The Iconian Reputation is also showing some interesting traits (subnuke on all your energy beams!) and a Tier I console that will turn any wet-paper hulled ship into a tank.

The 44th Delta Fleet’s facilities are chugging along nicely, with many Tier II unlocks in progress or even finishing. We try to keep fleet projects up and running 24/7 so you guys can earn your fleet credits, and we’re building up fleet provisions for future use.

On that note, any (new) member reaching Fleet Lieutenant rank has the option to be moved to the 44th main fleet. Lieutenants are granted access to our well stocked main fleet stores and can buy fleet ships, fleet shields and other unique items. Ask Command Staff for a move and LT promotion; it only takes a minute.

Do buy them from the 44th main fleet. I noticed a few fleet ships were bought from the Delta Fleet provisions but without high Tier shipyards these fleet ships must’ve been T-5; no biggie, but it’s a bit of a waste. Get your top tier fleet ships from 44th main, and save the Delta Provisions for future use.

On projects, to donate your Delta recruit Dilithium vouchers; ‘park’ your regular refined dilithium in the dili/zen exchange (just like you move it between alts) and you can easily donate the fleet-only dili reward to whatever fleet project you fancy. After, cancel your parked dilithium to reclaim it. Ask around in chat for help if needed.

Also, don’t forget to pick up your free doffs at the Starfleet/Qonos Academy; free doffs to donate so free fleet credits to earn, win-win.

In a recent interview STO lead designer Al “Captain Geko” Riviera mentioned “lots of great new things coming to fleets and starbases, tied to the Iconian war story” – a new fleet holding?.
Apparently there will be 4-5 new featured episodes this Season 10, so that’s something we can look forward too. Also there will be various T-6 versions of current (older?) ships in the works, keeping an eye on that (T-6 Sovereign anybody?)

The 44th Fleet and KDF 44th Assault Squadron are pretty much in maintenance mode; there are no new projects to be found worth slotting (+200K dili for a chef, brig or Respec NPC – not going to happen soon…) and even the special events (like improved mine interior) aren’t even available.
The KDF mine, spire and embassy will receive amenity upgrade projects when Cryptic decides to release them again as the last one offered dates from Jan 1st. No idea why they halted those.

A special mention for Sovereign47’s RP thread which is lively and well attended; it’s good fun so check it out and pitch in.

We’re no longer releasing monthly promotion lists as promotions are now more personal and with many toons switching between our fleets for store visits etc it gets crazy pretty fast.
Let us know if you did receive a promotion but one of your alts was skipped; fleet ranks are character wide, but we often overlook a dormant farming alt.
