Just a friendly reminder not to donate white-quality gear items to the Fleet Bank.

White-quality gear is considered “vendor trash”, and you should sell it to an NPC vendor instead, and keep the credits for yourself.

The Fleet Bank is meant to offer Fleet Members items they need to play, but may have trouble acquiring on their own. White-quality gear is so low-end, most game rewards are automatically of higher quality.

Speaking of gear in the Fleet Bank, I suppose I should also mention that “farming” the Fleet Bank for items to sell on the in-game Exchange is a strict no-no, and one of the few behaviors which can get you permanently booted from the Fleet. The Fleet Command officers have records of what is donated, and what is withdrawn, and by whom.

Items in the Fleet Bank are there for Fleet members who actually need, and will actually use, the items during the game. They’re not there as seed capital for your latest Ferengi business venture. Sorry 😀

That’s is all. Carry on, and have fun, good captains,

    Shaw

Or, sell them to a vendor and donate the proceeds to the fleet bank. Generous contributions like yours fund future contests! Contribute today! 😉

I haven’t looked on this site, but if there isn’t a Fleet policy on the fleet bank(s), a fine officer such as yourself Shaw could draft up a proposal. 💡

Official Bank deposit/withdraws policy is listed in the 44th fleet rules and regulations, but it can be forgotten sometimes. When the fleet banks are full (or at the end of every month) Command Staff usually empty all fleet inventories to make room and add the ec to the fleet ec bank.

It’s not a rule, but all three fleet banks should have a few stacks of emergency repair components, health regenerators/hypo’s and various batteries for players to pick up if needed when they’re not near an appropriate vendor and about to start an STF etc.

We also keep a sizeable stack of various lockboxes for those that want to have a (small) chance of picking up a vintage item.

All other items should be very rare, regardless of Mark level.

Thanks Shaw for the reminder and stepping – you’re hereby awarded the Official Latinum 44th Fleet Broomstick to sweep the banks clear when needed 😉
