Out of curiosity, how do promotions take place in the 44th?
After a person’s initial two-week probational period, does a person have to request the bump up from someone specific, or what? Not to be taken as a complaint by no means, just a general query.

Promotions usually happen as soon as you reach the threshold of your current rank (assuming you’ve met the requirements and are in good standing with the fleet), but it sometimes take a couple days or so for one of our fleet officers to check the roster and see who’s up for promotion. If you are up for promotion but haven’t been promoted, just send a message to any of the fleet officers, and they will make sure you are taken care of. Don’t be shy!
They are: Marcase, Sargon, Blackout, Damix, Palcioz, Defcon, Horridperson, Silversera, and Sensei-Krieger.

January 25, 2017 at 2:45 am #179189Yup, like tbjarnason said. Basically after two weeks you will be promoted to Lieutenant, and 4 weeks after that you (and ALL your alts) will be promoted to Commander (we deleted the Lt Cdr rank). Commander is the top rank for most casual players. If you are online often, like several times per week, and are very active within the fleet with assisting new guys, joining/organizing raids etc, you may be promoted to Captain. If you provide a certain unique service you may be eligible for Commodore rank and higher, but that’s on a case by case basis.
We promote the Player, so all your alts will receive the same rank. So if you are already a Commander and you create a brand new toon, that toon will become immediately a Commander in the fleet, with the usual fleet store unlocks etc.If you think you are due for a promotion, let us know. There are so many alts we may accidentally overlook one (or two) 😉
Any questions, always ask 😀
