FYI: looking into occasional outages

I finally had some time to dig into the site’s occasional problem with connecting to the database. I’ve made a few config changes on the backend that may or may not help mitigate the problem. Please let me know if you encounter this problem, as the site often recovers on its own and I may not see the failures happening.

I noticed those but as you said the site often recovered after refreshing, so it wasn’t a real issue on my end. Will let you know if it occurs again.
