Just a query really.. I often donate to other fleet holding projects within our armada.
I find that the main 44th never sets any projects to active apart from the fleet starbase and I’m wondering why? Just seems that if the projects are available (I know everything is maxed in main 44th) it would be good to activate them. Just a query as I said 🙂

With main 44th fleet projects all completed and maximized, and its fleet stores well stocked, any further projects slotted there are basically wasted – any resources donated are better used to finish the remaining projects in Delta, Gamma and KDF. Using the Armada tab you can easily cross-donate to Delta/Gamma (unfortunately not to KDF) and fleet credits earned are the same. If there’s nothing in the three 44th fleet’s available the other armada fleets are options as well.
On a side note, as this question comes up often, our allied armada fleets are free to run their fleets as they see fit, and that includes blocking us from donating to their fleet projects; this is basically to give their own members first shot on the ‘easy’ projects. The reason the 44th does *not* do that is to allow you direct contributions to/from main-Delta-Gamma without having to swap characters/fleets all the time.

Ahhh that actually makes a lot of sense. I just got colony provisions to get rid of and all the other fleet in the armada didn’t need them either so I’ll just chuck em in my bank til one of them starts a new project!

So I just read this post and then logged into STO. And what do I find as the Universal Endeavor? Earn 5000 Fleet Credits.

Edit after the fact: So I guess that wasn’t so hard. Deposited a bunch of doff’s and got the endeavor. Delta fleet needed them. TBH my klink could have used the FC more but as stated by someone earlier no can do with KDF.

Starbase projects don’t require dilithium so we slot them all the time. Projects from other holdings (spire, RL, embassy, colony, dil mine, k13) need at least 20k dil for completion. Since we have enough provisions and everything upgraded at 44th Fleet, that dil would be wasted – and there are holdings at Delta and Gamma that need dil to upgrade tiers.
Also you Can put colony provisions in your coffer, then you get the fleet credits right away and can use them later To fill projects
