There’s a bug going around STO involving the equipment assigned to your Bridge Officers (Boffs), as in that kit disappearing. This has only affected a few so far but it sounds a bit similar to an older bug that was fixed long ago, so this may be bug version 2.0. Cryptic is aware and looking into it.
