• Why join the Mighty 44th? I’m looking for a KDF fleet with at least a T5 shipyard, I’ve been grinding away for about 2 years in my current fleet and all I want is to be able to get a fleet Kor Bird-of-Prey. I have no problem contributing before being allowed to use fleet resources, that’s no problem I’ll have plenty of admiralty dil vouchers, flarks, and doffs to give. I am a veteran player with LTS since early 2015.I saw a link to your fleet in the STO sub on Reddit and decided to apply.

Hi Will,

We’d be happy to have you aboard, FED and KDF alike, but we do have a no multi-fleeting policy.

If you want to bring all of your characters over (doesn’t matter how many, we’ll find a place for them all 😄), just post the names here in response, and we’ll start sending out invites. If you aren’t sure yet, we can offer a two-week trial period to check us out and see if you want to come “all in” to 44th Fleet. If so, we’re happy to have you! If not, we wish you well.

OK yeah that’s fine, my current fed fleet is a ghost town anyhow, only reason I stayed is because it’s fully leveled and, well, inertia lol.

Hello Will!

Thanks for applying to The Mighty 44th. You will receive your in-game invite next time you log in.

Join our 44th chat channel “44th-diplo” by typing the following into the chat window: /channel_join 44th-diplo.

This is used to communicate with our 44th Fleet, 44th Delta Fleet, 44th Gamma Fleet, 44th Epsilon Fleet, as well as our KDF fleets; 44th Assault Squadron and 44th Honour Guard – we don’t use the in-game fleet channel. We are six fleets acting as one.

As a new 44th Fleet Ensign you will be stationed for 6 weeks in the 44th Epsilon Fleet, while KDF warriors are assigned to our 44th Honour Guard for 6 weeks. For a promotion to Lieutenant and fleet store unlock you just need to meet 2 requirements:

1) Must have either logged into the game or posted on our 44th forum at least once during the review period of 2 weeks (which starts today);
2) Must be in good standing with the fleet.

The fleet rank of Commander is earned after you’ve been with us for 6 weeks. Upon earning this rank, up to two of your characters can be transferred into 44th Fleet or 44th Assault Squadron, and up to three can be put into 44th Delta Fleet or 44th Gamma Fleet at your discretion. Our promotion schedule is hosted publicly at our Trello Board.

Full access to the 44th forum has now been unlocked, feel free to look around. Please bookmark this forum to keep up with Fleet news, and see the most recent Sunday Supplemental Briefing to catch up.

Sorry to hear about your old fleet, but glad that you decided to come aboard! 2 of our 4 Fed fleets are already fully leveled as well as 1 on the KDF side.  As soon as you hit LT rank in fleet (2 weeks), you will have access to any of the fleet stores.  This and Commander rank are just time gated, there are no requirements for contributions of any kind.  The projects are just there so members can get marks to buy their own gear as needed.  So do not feel compelled to donate to any project unless you want to.

There will be a fleet get-together in a couple weeks (https://startrek.44thfleet.com/forums/topic/corona-breakout-2-event-may-8th-2100-utc/). These events are also voluntary. Feel free to take part in whatever you like, enjoy the game, and just have fun!

Thank you both for the welcome, your rule are perfectly reasonable, I’ve waited 6 years to be able to buy a fleet Kor I can wait another 6 weeks lol.
