- Why join the Mighty 44th? I stumbled across the 44th in my search for STO fleets, and the Steam posts made by other players about the fleet were very positive. I am a semi-casual player- I play like a quantum torpedo; high bursts of activity followed by breaks, and was worried I’d be kicked off the roster of an average fleet for not participating and contributing. I really appreciate the fact that I could be gone for a month or longer and still be reinstated into the 44th. I also appreciate the fact that ranks are given by time spent, and not by how much wealth you accumulate. This seems like a very well organized fleet, and I’d be honored to be a part of it.
- Tell us about yourself: I’m a fantasy and sci-fi nerd who loves to “explore new worlds,” and Star Trek has been a staple of my life from childhood. I may not be a “Trekspert” who can recite lore verbatim, but I appreciate the vision that Gene Roddenberry painted of space exploration and humanity’s role in it. When not playing games like STO, I like to write stories based on my own life experiences, with a bit of new-fangled sci-fi tech and good old-fashioned magic to spice things up 🙂 I also enjoy roleplaying and table-top games like Dungeons and Dragons.

Join our 44th chat channel “44th-diplo” by typing the following into the chat window: /channel_join 44th-diplo.
This is used to communicate with our 44th Fleet, 44th Delta Fleet and our 44th Assault Squadron (KDF) – we don’t use the in-game fleet channel.
As a new 44th Fleet Ensign you will be stationed for 2 weeks in the 44th Delta Fleet, (KDF’s go directly to our 44th Assault Sqn). For a promotion to Lieutenant and fleet store unlock you just need to meet 2 requirements:
1) Must have either logged into the game or posted on our 44th forum at least once during the review period of 2 weeks (which starts today);
2) Must be in good standing with the fleet.Full access to the 44th forum has now been unlocked, feel free to look around. Please bookmark this forum to keep up with Fleet news, and see the recent November State of the Fleet to catch up (under “About Us”).
We use Discord for voice and we are also on twitter.
As a mature, no-drama fleet the 44th caters to casual and hard-core players, so I’m sure you’ll fit right in.
