- Why join the Mighty 44th? I have recently started playing again after a long absence, probably 3-4 year, so much has changed with the game so I thought its about time I joined a fleet, I was here at the beginning with the open beta and was a subscriber till the game went free to play.
I have 5 Fed characters and 2 KDF but am only playing on my main one at the moment, Seras Victoria, Tactical Officer in a Patrol Escort.
I am looking to join a friendly no drama fleet who have been around a while, I keep getting random fleet invites in game, they don’t ask me anything and rarely responded if I pm them.
Unfortunately I know nothing about how fleets work in game and have very little in the way of in game resources.
I am currently working on levelling up R&D and Marks. - Tell us about yourself: Long time Star Trek Fan, currently have more time to play but that may change in the future.

Thanks for applying to the Mighty 44th, you should receive your in-game invite next time you log in.
A lot has changed in STO in the last 3-4 years, but most of it good. However, if you have any questions or need some guidance, don’t hesitate to ask here on this 44th forum, our Discord voice/chat server or in-game – this is what your fleet is for !
As the Wisest Tribble once said, the only dumb question is the one never asked 😉Join our 44th chat channel “44th-diplo” by typing the following into the chat window: /channel_join 44th-diplo.
This is used to communicate with our 44th Fleet, 44th Delta Fleet and our 44th Assault Squadron (KDF) which all act as one (hence the Mighty 44th) – also we don’t use the in-game fleet channel.
As a new 44th Fleet Ensign you will be stationed for 2 weeks in the 44th Delta Fleet, (KDF’s go directly to our 44th Assault Sqn). For a promotion to Lieutenant and fleet store unlock you just need to meet 2 requirements:
1) Must have either logged into the game or posted on our 44th forum at least once during the review period of 2 weeks (which starts today);
2) Must be in good standing with the fleet.Full access to the 44th forum has now been unlocked, feel free to look around. See the recent September State of the Fleet to catch up.
We use Discord for voice and we are also on twitter.
As a mature, no-drama fleet the 44th caters to casual and hard-core players, so I’m sure you’ll fit right in.
