- Why join the Mighty 44th? I”m looking for an active fleet with interesting people. Have you ever heard the phrase “I’ve forgotten more about blah blah blah then you’ll ever know…”? That’s me with this game. I’m a lifetime member and I’ve been away for a few years and I’m working on relearning how the game works as well as catching up on everything new that’s happened since I left. I’m looking for a sounding board for stupid questions as well as access to resources to fill in the blanks like locked ship traits and whatnot.
- Tell us about yourself: I’m a lifetime member and avid MMO player. I’ve tried most of the MMO’s released in the last 20 years and will probably continue to do so, which is why I tend to appear in and disappear from STO at random intervals. I’m currently playing WoW, Planetside 2, The Division, and STO. I’m a good, but casual player. I generally aim for excellence, and while I rarely achieve it, I can usually be relied upon to hit a reasonable level of competence. I like to be helpful when I can be and I’m a generally friendly person. I try to be funny, but my success ration is only about 73% so… expect some bad jokes. I usually play solo because my play time is limited and erratic, but I’m happy to join fleet groups or activities when I’m on.

Join our 44th chat channel “44th-diplo” by typing the following into the chat window: /channel_join 44th-diplo.
This is used to communicate with our 44th Fleet, 44th Delta Fleet and our 44th Assault Squadron (KDF) – we don’t use the in-game fleet channel.As a new 44th Fleet Ensign you will be stationed for 2 weeks in the 44th Delta Fleet, (KDF’s go directly to our 44th Assault Sqn). For a promotion to Lieutenant and fleet store unlock you just need to meet 2 requirements:
1) Must have either logged into the game or posted on our 44th forum at least once during the review period of 2 weeks (which starts today);
2) Must be in good standing with the fleet.Full access to the 44th forum has now been unlocked, feel free to look around. See the recent State of the Fleet to catch up.
We use Discord for voice and we are also on twitter.As a mature, no-drama fleet the 44th caters to casual and hard-core players, so I’m sure you’ll fit right in.
