Continued Dialogue

Greetings. My name is Ambassador Sarlak of Vulcan, and I am the senior ambassador for the Vulcan Kolinahr Fleet. I have received orders from my CO directing me to contact the Commanding Officers or Diplomats of fleet’s with whom we have previously had contact in order to extend our hand in friendship. I will transmit a copy of my orders to you for your review:

Ambassador Sarlak;

Your orders are to present yourself at the embassies with which we maintain relations, have previously had relations, or with whom we wish to establish relations. You will identify yourself to the Commanding Officer or Senior Diplomat in charge. Your objective is to extend an offer of continued friendship, set up alliances where old ones have failed or faltered, and to express our hope of mutual benefit. They will no doubt have many questions regarding our formal establishment and or renewal of Ambassadorial relations. You are to relay to the Commanding Officer at each embassy, our desire to continue friendly relations with them, and our will to move forward in a mutual alliance against the onslaught of merciless savages that threaten the very foundations of the Federation.
You will report back to me as soon as you have carried out your orders, with any questions or concerns presented to you in regards to these orders.

I therefore respectfully request that I be registered as an Ambassador with your Diplomatic Staff, and that I be granted access to your Embassy for establishment and or renewal of formal ties.
