I’ve doing a replay of Skyrim in Special Edition, hence my absence from STO. Occasionally I’ll fire up GTA V or Fallout 4. I have a sub to ESO but I haven’t played it in awhile. I have an EVE account, but it’s basically been a solo game for me. The account is not currently active. I have a SWTOR account as well, but I’ve given up on that game. Doubt I’ll ever play it again after the last round of server merges.
Waiting for Far Cry 5 to go on sale then I will probably pick that up.

Will hopefully be around more in the next month for matches. Great fights so far! Congrats to the victors.
I have one suggestion for this year’s tourny. A mercy rule. I participated in the last PVP event and it was clear after 2 or 3 matches in space that I had no chance. Having to suffer through another 12 more losses (I unequipped my shields and anything that buffed my hull or shields to make it faster) was painfully boring. I know this means the people that win won’t get the quest rewards, but those shouldn’t be the priority.
Open to other thoughts or opinions.

I like the idea, but I’m not sure how it really adds much to immersion. Other than a little creative writing and switching ship types, what is the end game?
What might be cool is trying to come up with some foundry missions that weave this in. For instance, maybe the first mission is reporting to ESD, getting a briefing from Fleet Admiral Marcase, and being dispatched on a mission in your new ship. Could maybe come up with some group content as well. Maybe we could weave it into fleet events or make some movies for the youtubes of us getting our RP on?
It might also be cool to come up with a standard format for captain dossiers.
Just spit balling. I really like the idea, just think it needs a bit more meat to draw in some participation.
I found the spot but I’ll be damned if I can figure out how ya’ll got up there. I keep hitting invisible wall after invisible wall.Ended up finding it with good ol’ fashioned team work. @robofearth and @silvershadow#5602 and I ended up working together to find the path up. Is there a way for non admins to upload images outside of posts? I have about 16 mb of pics and I don’t really want to do 8 posts to get them uploaded. I can email them to somebody too, if that works.
