I’ve sold maybe 50 or so over the last couple of months, I take a slightly different approach. Normally I put em up for 4.6 or 4.7 mil, depending on what the low rate is. I’ve had a couple above 4.8 mil.
Depends if you can be patient, or need a quick EC injection. Low bidders tend to nickle and dime each other, but mine have always sold in a day or two.
I refer to the many ways Cryptic has stated it, including the splash screen – “Earn A T6 Ship”
It’s never been – ‘we’re gifting you a T6 ship’ – and that’s the distinction a lot of forum posters have missed
Yep, their methodology of earning the ship is steep and grindy, and it might be out of reach of some people, due to a whole range of reasons, but that is true of just about anything – missed holiday events, Delta Recruits etc – all of which I missed unfortunately.
The grind is possible for most players, that’s reasonable. Some players won’t be able to earn their T6 and that’s regrettable, but that also reality. I personally think its a good move, get players involved in FTFOs (which you’ll do anyway – the console is pretty sweet), get players primed for the next one, maybe make a few bucks from the Commendation Pack, end of August you have earned an extra ship.
My fear is that the epic level of forum hate about this system means they won’t do it again.

I am saving up my extra change for the Gamma Vanguard Starter Pack.</p>
That pack has been one of my best purchases. The Vanguard Dreadnought Cruiser has been a blast to play with. I highly recommend it, when you have enough, Chaos1000% agree. I haven’t been as active as others, due to timezones and my focus on gearing up my ship, but I love seeing the constant offers of advice/crafting/TFOs – all the time.
When I’ve asked for advice or a invite, it’s always happened. Recently, in the wee small hours I found myself offering advice to another Fleetie in need. It’s the Circle of Life man!
I played WOW hardcore for 7 years, and whilst my guild were good people, it pales in comparison to the good people of the 44th.
Thanks to you all
Agreed with all of the above. I like Discovery, but I don’t *love* Discovery, like I do the rest of Trek. I’d dig seeing more of Pike/Spock, but I could do with less Burnham – the character just isn’t doing it for me. Storylines are ok, but like Marcase said, it’s starting to be a bit more fantastical than I enjoy. Hopefully the Picard series brings more adventure/exploration.
