I don’t have Ferengi character. We could do something like that if we’ll have free gamma spots (if there will be enough people interested).
Anyone has a suggestion of Beta or Gamma fleet that could join us?
July 23, 2015 at 9:18 pm in reply to: STO’s upcoming "Armada" system – i.e. diplomacy matters? #162798I was chatting with Zane from STAR Armada. They are alliance of mild to hard-core RP fleets so we are definietly out. I will explore other options, we are just starting here, hehe.
Think we should turn off the auto-decline of armada invites.
We could make a text to present our Armada on ARC forum, which would help attract Betas and Gammas. Can anyone help with this?
Edit: I opened a topic about it, let me know if I should add something or change the current text:

They are willing to join us as Beta, while we are Alpha. They have few posts on their forum in the last 2 months, although not much – but it proves they are somewhat active. Good thing is they are lvl.47 like we are. Seams like we could get our own Armada without joining STAR so it is a good thing we have so much options.

So we could get them as Gamma position, but better talk with The Trust before inviting them.
Edit: Last time someone posted on their forum was Dec 2012.
Here is PM I got after asking them which position they are interested in:
Xargh, you have been promoted to LT today so I suggest you switch to main fleet now. It offers dilithium discount for things you purchase with dil thanks to T3 Spire and access to all fleet gear currently available. From main fleet you can donate to Delta or ESA thanks to Armada system so you can accumulate enough Fleet Credit.
But if you want to remain in Delta, you can ask for fleet map invite to main fleets holding which gives you access to main fleet stores. But Delta has limited number of provisions so being in main is best option.
Well said everyone.
I’d rather have main and Delta in same Armada, it brings feel of being closely connected. I no longer feel being with STOFA is good if we can’t squeeze in ESA and Delta.. un-44th is a good word.
I think we should have enough power to choose our Gamma fleets.. this way it sounds like fleet level is most important – cutting out ESA for not meeting some conditions. Wasn’t in those discussions so have no idea what everyone talked about or what is their reason for limiting options or forcing us to take Gamma of their choice.
Edit: I posted about fleet The Trust in the topic below. Going forward with it would mean we are going solo, which is the option I’d be ok to take.

We should team up with Zane and chat about possible Armada. I’m very interested in connecting us with this fleet:Fleet name: The Trust (RP)
Link: Website and STO ForumsEdit: just saw their Armada proposal on STO forum.
Edit2: Jupiter Force is making an Armada too: http://jupiterforce.org/showthread.php?48997-Armada-Request
Edit3: I’m talking with Firefly Fleet, will update you when I get something I could share.

I would go with STOFA if we can keep ESA. After reading ESA’s post at Embassy forum, I have sent him a PM today telling him I’m glad we are in same Armada – they are type of fleet I’d like to be associated with. Although I liked the idea of going with Liberty from the start, rejecting ESA doesn’t feel right to me. Of course, needs of the fleets are more important than this but that doesn’t change what I think. So if we will have vote here, I’m voting NO to STOFA and will accept whatever you guys decide.
I’m sure we are very attractive as Beta and wouldn’t have problems finding another place to go. But I’m okay with being Alpha and having ESA type of fleets. Is this the drama Geko was talking about? : D
Weekly buff is a nice feature : )
Congrats everyone for completing the “Lost Civilizations” visual project. I noticed one of the artifacts we unlocked looks like Delorean Flux Capacitor from Back to the Future movie. Nice time travelling connection there.
Welcome to the fleet. : )

Just below the User Control Panel, on top of the Subforum sections. Or click here:
July 21, 2015 at 9:55 am in reply to: STO’s upcoming "Armada" system – i.e. diplomacy matters? #162791Although we decided not to join kdf 10th, I think we shouldn’t be too picky since there are not many Kdf fleets. Their fleet level would benefit us a lot.
I’ll join the tournament too. Hope I’ll be able to come online during the match time : )
July 14, 2015 at 9:03 pm in reply to: STO’s upcoming "Armada" system – i.e. diplomacy matters? #162788Contact for European Space Agencies: @tomaswille (Fleet Level: Fleet level 6, almost 7)
Contact for Timelords: @norfolk57 (they made a post on forum Embassy 2 years ago): stofleets.spacetechnology.net
Contact for 10th Fleet’s Kdf: brian hughes@hughes0895 – almost tier 5 fleet – VERY likely to go as Beta on Kdf side – you must must must talk to him about it. Fed side will be Alpha. He sounded like he is ok with that, I joined his fleet on tribble to see how it looks, etc. His english is not the best so hope he understood me.
@Jonralen from our Kdf side is contact for his Fed fleet. Can’t remember the name of fed fleet, t3/t4
Contact for Liberty: Grayfox@Grayfoxjames he is leader of Liberty Task Force – they want Alpha on Fed side, VKF Beta. Now, you could try out and see if his Kdf side (almost t5) would go as Beta while we are Alpha. But they could bargain with that and give it if we join Fed Armada as Beta. They have some huge plans with complete new forum for Armada members.
Priority 1 Jayce (@xeperi in game) hasn’t replied to me so far so…banana. Time for you Marcase to contact Cookiecupcakes
Fed Directive 10 and Zenas Expeditionary Fleet didn’t replied. Fed Phoenix fleet already has arrangement for Alpha.
Armada Fleet Fed will be Alpha, while their Kdf could go Beta but they will start thinking about it when 10.5 is live, will give them your contacts since we talked via twitter – don’t have @handle.
Hope some good Beta candidates cross our path.
Congrats Loce! Jem’Hadar weapons are mysteriously present at Risa…what is going on, why?
Next riddle will be posted when I come back from vacation so taking a break here…but! there is no reason why not continue the contest without me. See you.
TBak, looks good. My Pathfinder has 6x beam arrays. Decided to remove torp on my build as it has only 4 tac seats and since I got Kemocite 1, there was not enough space for torp power.
Engineer Team 1 helps with offline subsystems but it is really hard to squeeze it in with limited eng seats and A2D seems like important part of your build. Some parts of the Iconian space set also help with subsystem offline.
Adapted MACO can be used with Leech, MACO is the problematic one.
