My power levels are 95/15/15/75. You mean those consumable weapon batteries?
I can replace RSP1 with either EPtA for more EPG or EPtW + Emergency Weapon Cycle trait to support beams. That is my main character so I have good choice of traits. Which ones would you use?
Crit rate for Exotic damage abilities is actually 57-66%, depending on the ability. What is shown in opening post is maybe crit rate without Particle Manipulator trait.
Marcase, plan is to go with Polarons one day. I’ll probably combine few flavors and go for the set Chronometric calculation set. I’ll try Plasma torp from time to time and compare results, I’m not playing ISA often enough to try everything out. Currently levelling my TOS char and hoping to get UR rep gear. Quantum Phase sounds interesting, I’m considering using it.
I later noticed it is Epicninja, but I hoped he wouldn’t make any problems.
My vote goes for kicking them out, Dragon’s Lair is valuable member of this Armada so I don’t want to see them harassed by Epicninja.
NeonGame looks like a modern version of our current webiste so I like it. Can parachute jumper in the background be changed? Link at the bottom doesn’t bother me so we can go for free version. I’ll check other themes, and will let you know if I find something.

Yeah, I feel the same. “Friendly” can’t hide the fact that he is fascist, and we don’t want to connect that name with 44th. It could be a joke but it is not a good one. I just reported it in-game so he will probably be forced to change his @handle. We can consider inviting him when he gets new @handle.

We talked in chat yesterday – Since you have a topic opened here, ask any question you have about the game. Many Release Notes went live in a year and a half so we will try to help.
Just giving some examples here: GamesZone theme costs 19$, while Alium theme costs 29$, which are cheaper options than Blackfyre (59$). Below you can find more themes from same provider/price group.
Is this worth the money, compared to free themes?
Blackfyre is better looking and has more features, but Palcioz could manually add some of them if needed/possible. For example, Buddypress plugin from Blackfyre is free (“Each of members gets their own profile page along with the ability to create and manage teams of other users”).
Themes of same price range as Blackfyre (49-59$).
Themes (Smthemes.com) costing 28-29$, cheaper than Blackfyre, a bit more expensive than Flexithemes.
Themes (Flexithemes.com) from same company as GamesZone, price is 19$ (select “Game” category).
Note: Both 28$ and 19$ themes can be used for free, although it contains sponsored links – this way it can be tested to see how it works with our website.
FREE THEMES! – This site is nice preview of dark themes. If some of the links for closer look and content preview doesn’t work, googling for theme names will provide a result. There is probably a better site to search for free themes, I’ll try to find more later.
Whatever we choose, it is important to check dates to see when was the last time that theme was maintained or supported, so that there are no compatibility issues with new versions of WordPress or maybe (my guess) plugins/widgets used one the site.

Those that are not interested in website and forum activity, won’t visit it again – but I believe if website is improved in functionality, it will be more interesting place to return to. Adding plugins/widgets on the home page could spice things up:
*News Feed plugin – I for example exclusively read STO news from our website so that would be useful (One we had on this website stopped working so we are loading news website in the “sto news” tab.
*Calendar plugin for fleet activity, to show there is Search for Soolin running at the moment, or to show we have Borg stf run next weekend as a part of a New website celebration event, etc.
*Huckabee once said that it would be useful if we would have plugin to quickly view the latest forum posts. If “Mark forums read” button was not clicked, it is hard to see when something new is posted.
*Even Discord plugin for quick view of who is online on our teamspeak: https://wordpress.org/plugins/discord-display/. (if it works)
*Probably more ^^Of course, forum content in form of guides would make website more useful but that is up to us (Codewarrior guides he is working on). I like what they did with “Information Console” found on House of Morn website. They also have nice solution to show forum posts and calendar events as seen below the image.
About Blackfyre, it does look good. Is that normal price for themes? I don’t fully understand that clan functionality but I think it is not for type of MMO we are playing. I’m searching for black themes so I’ll let you know if I stumble upon something.

I was thinking how we could tackle this. If subsections would be ship types (cruiser/sci/escort), we would post a sticky topic in each subsection which would cover all the basics for that ship type. It can easily be modified when new features are introduced that affect certain ship type.
I have logged in without problems. Edited “Join the Mighty 44th” page through WordPress without problem. I normally posted on forum (no black letters ^^).
Some forum names are different, for example, defcon1776’s username is Ta’al on the tribble site. I noticed there is option to “Display name publicly as” which changed current forum names to personal names in some cases, like Richard or Matt, and even name and surname in one case as default name. That should probably be disabled but I’m currently not sure how to access settings for this. This is probably low priority at the moment but I’m reporting it anyway.
Related to “Shipyard” articles I made, I’ll try to come up with a better solution for that, maybe in a form of guide to Fed ships, so that transition to new site isn’t necessary.
I can help with adding fleet members to corresponding groups when/if needed.
I’m Ok with having completely different theme for the new website. 🙂
It wouldn’t be easy for me to evaluate each topic before I move it to normal/advanced/elite, cruiser/escort/sci is easier to sort. But we could tag topic names with “normal/advanced/elite”. Category under level 50 builds would be nice to have.
I’d like to see more members posting their build just to show where they are, without the need for help. It would be useful for new and old players as they can see what is current meta or what kind of solution someone made.
Some kind of event with EC stimulation could cover this. Having agreement in which way they should show their build could be useful – what Marcase mentioned earlier.Speaking of category for Dreadnoughts, there are ships classified with Dreadnought Cruiser. This Dread should go under cruiser, while Annorax Science Dreadnought would go under Science Vessel. So I’d rather not have Dreadnought as separate section. So maybe Carrier would be its own section, without being grouped with Dreadnought?
Cruisers, Battlecruisers and Dreadnoughts are similar so they could all go together. 4th category could make search for builds easier, although Carrier and Dreads have different stats and role, but both ship types have Hangar Bays so that makes them similar.
Carriers could also be grouped with Science Vessels as both have 3 fore, 3 aft weapon in most cases, not counting the new Romulan Kelvin carrier. Both have kind of a support role, although that doesn’t have to be true when they are piloted.
Escorts, Pilot, Bird-of-Prays all together.
Can’t decide which way is better to show the build, I would probably combine both. Are you thinking of having standardised way of presenting builds?

It wasn’t easy for me to figure out who’ll be cleaning that up. Here goes the story.
Another long and grindy day was coming to its end, pressure was unbearable with mind overwhelmed by temporal paradoxes and tiny Kelvin type realities I must have created in my daily tasks.
