Two STO / Star Trek Podcasts…

Hello Captains,

These are two STO/Trek podcasts I like, there are of course a million more, but these two are my current favorites.

Priority One is dedicated to STO, and what I particularly like is that they have a (semi) direct line to Cryptic and offer regular interviews with STO developers. This week they had a two-parter with developer Al Rivera talking about S8.
Don’t expect super in-depth STO discussions though, but a more general overview of patch notes and Dev blogs. Still informative with background info.

The G and T Show is more 1/3 general Trek, 1/3 Trek books and 1/3 STO. Not necessarily in that order. Or any order.
Nick, Terry and Mike present an hilarious and often heated debate about all things Trek. The “Ask Dayton” (Dayton Ward, Trek writer) segment is hilarious.
Btw Terry is Terrylynn Shull who blogs about STO on Massively’s Captain’s Log.

Both shows are also live, but my Euro-time prevents me from listening. The live versions are apparently even better.

I like Priority One, last one brought some good info about S8. Good explanation about Voth and dinos, makes sense, you should check it out.

Interesting part for me was plan for updating science ships. They are thinking of possibility of second deflector or different mods (buff, debuff and heal??).

I haven’t heard about G and T show, I’ll give it a look.
