So I have subspace vortex iii and I’m happy with the damage combined with GW. However, according to the tooltip it should allow for a quick teleport to location upon reactivation. As I fly a support carrier (with its high inertia and a turn rate of a whopping 5), this idea appealed to me to quickly close distance and stop. However, it doesn’t seem to work. Have anyone ever had it work properly and how? Lol

Anyway, if you have a large lumbering ship (Vonph, Ent-J, Valkis etc) and you want to make it less so,
you can turn it into a jumper to maneuver into position instead of taking an hour trying to get it to turn.Besides Subspace Vortex, there is also the Lukari Warp core, and the Subspace Jump console. Not a ‘transporters’, but the Mycelium Ambush console/Lorca maneuver (KDF only) and ofcourse Black Alert which warps in duplicates of you.

https://sto.gamepedia.com/Trait:_Black_AlertMy Vonph can cloak while standing still (“Hidden Payload” 2pc set bonus) all the while jumping all over the map spawning duplicates.
As Q once said; if you can’t move an object, change the gravitational constant of the universe. 🙂
