Dear friends,
Your help is required! 🙂
I’m trying to bind tray powers in shooter mode, similar to the way it is been done at space mode. I try to bind it all to the secondary fire (Rbutton) – works fine in RPG mode, but upon switching to shooter mode – nada. no effect. Frustrating.
So – I come to you. To these of you who know – what do I do wrong??
shooter.txt:
Rbutton “+STOTrayExecByTray 0 4 $$ +STOTrayExecByTray 0 5 $$ … “
My advice: Don’t use shooter mode – there is no in game benefit and you lose a lot. Don’t make the game into something it isn’t.
I use, in chat:
/bind X ” crouch 1 $$ aim 2 “
This makes you (surprise, surprise) crouch and aim when pressing X. Crouching makes you harder to hit with energy weapons but vulnerable in melee, and aiming gives you a +dmg bonus.

And one caveat with this: make sure you turn off the Zoom camera with Aim.
