Jevonite?

Do anyone know about making Prototype Ablative Jevonite. Specifically where to go to get the doff assignments and which doff?

It is part of a Doff chain, once 4/4 completed you get the (random) doff mission to turn Jevonite into armor.

After that, the Ferengi on DS9 (the one messing with the food replicator) has several ‘haggle’ Doff missions, which include “Haggle for” Jevonite, Feresan leaves, lockets and some others.

And of course both Jevonite and jevonite armor can be found on the exchange.

I get the “Haggle for Jevonite” option at DS9 already while not having completed that chain yet. Considering the price for that stuff on the exchange, haggling is cheaper, though, anyway 😉

Well you can complete the haggle/craft jevonite armor chain (and other Alpha quadrant doff/colony chains) when you do the Breen and DS9 arcs when leveling (did that recently with my new Jem Hadars), since you’ll be spending plenty of time there anyway. Trick is to keep an eye out in sector space for the more juicy doff missions, some which are unique to the Alpha quadrant.

I don’t know if I have completed the required chain (Biochemical Investigations: Jevonite), up until now I have just randumly selected doff assinments not knowing any better.  The current chains available to me are Biochemical Investigations: Unrefined Ketracel and Tulaberies.

I do have access to Haggle for Jevonite through the Ferangi on DS9, which I just did. Does that meat I have completed the Biochemical Investigations: Jevonite chain and should have access to Prototype Ablative Jevonite Hardpoints assinment?

So i think I have it, the first in that chain just randomly popped up. I looked through the requirements for the other 3 to make sure i have on hand what i need when the next one randomly shows up.

Still need 2 more doffs for the last two assignments.
