It has been awhile for me.  I’m pulling out the Manticore ship. It is my only T6 ship right now. (It is free!….ish) I’m eyeballing the new Odyssey.

There is a lot of new stuff to learn. New skills, Admiralty system.

Hey Melock wb. Yeah the T6 Oddy pack is a good buy, if you like cruisers – I do and I never regretted getting it. The Oddy’s low turn rate can be overcome by various consoles and also traits, so that’s not a real issue anymore (still not an escort ofcourse). Wicked tanks and can do wicked damage when outfitted right.

Main point when returning to STO – and general STO rule – just enjoy playing and re-discovering the game. All the nitty-gritty details and min-maxing stuff will eventually come and truth be told you can skip most of that if you’re happy with what you have. And as Damix said, lots of knowledge in the fleet so any questions, don’t hesitate. 😉

Welcome back!  I would have liked my “free….ish” ship better if it wasn’t so transform-y.  Too many moving parts imho for a Destroyer and engineers having to worry about repairing after a battle. haha

Another new ship maybe to look at is the Reliant.  I love mine, looks great with the Type 8 skin it has.  I say this because I’ve seen a few things where people have called it the “mini” Oddy since it can be set up like one.

Keep in mind though, won’t be long and they release the Galaxy interior if you think you might want it and some type of Galaxy variant.

I’m just having fun with the story right now. I need to catch up.

Went back to the Assault Cruiser and upgraded it. It just doesn’t blow up as much.

The 3 pack Oddy seems to be on sale….
