I know this is a noob ? and of course I am still new at this. Where the hell do I get blue or purple bridge boffs. I got two purples one I bought using Zen and the other from some kind of a lock box out of luck.

Well, those are two ways to get blue/purple boffs 😀

You can also buy Bridge Officers at our Embassies; both FED and KDF have one. These unique Romulan Boffs are expensive though.

There is also the exchange where a variety of bridge officers can be bought. Running certain Duty Officer assignments also reward Bridge Officers (critical success will give you purple ones etc).

So far i havent found any difference between green/blue/purple BOFFs. (the only exception is embassy and romulan boffs). All others are just the “same”. I could be wrong though.

Each rarity of BOffs comes with their own set of possible trait potencies.

Common BOffs will have 2x Standard Traits and 2x Basic Traits
Uncommon BOffs will have 3x Standard Traits and 1x Basic Trait.
Rare BOffs will have 2x Standard Traits, 1x Basic Trait and 1x Superior Trait.
Very Rare BOffs will have 2x Standard Traits and 2x Superior Traits.

More important is WHICH attributes they have – they are either irrelevant or critical… 🙂 Sup Rom Op for example.

Just buy them off the exchange. Sometimes, its the only way of getting certain abilities, like Aux to SIF 3, or Beam overload 3. Usually, those abilities will only be found on purple or blue quality boffs.
