Demuder@demuder Romulan KDF Aligned, no other alts yetAre you Silver/gold/ or Lifetime?:
Silver – I was considering getting a sub since I like the game so much, but then decided that a lot of content is pay-to-play anyway, so I decided not to. Plus I don’t mind nickle-and-diming as long as it is tasteful 😆Tell us about yourself (trek/game history, whatever you want us to know about you):
I am an avid Sci-Fi fan, I grew up with Star Trek although I wouldn’t call myself a Trekkie. I started STO a couple of weeks ago. I had made an account with Perfect World in hopes of a Secret World beta key (which never came to be), then forgot about it. I then read a review about STO and gave it a try and guess what, I liked it very much.
I am interested in the PVE content of the game, I rarely do PVP in games in general. As far as STO goes, I really like the space part, the ground part is pretty good too but not my cup of tea.
I am a casual gamer (the days of rigorous heroic raiding in WoW are long past), but I really liked the mechanics of STO and it seems a well thought out game with enough content to satisfy the completionist in me. I also had played Lineage II for a couple of years (a long long time ago). That is my mmo experience. As far single player games, I have been an avid PC gamer for the past 25 years.
I play in the evening, now finishing up the storyline and doing STFs to get the rep gear. I am not sure what I am going to do next, but I think Cryptic will provide something until I am done with all that. Why did you choose the Mighty 44th:
I am an Engineer and I have bought a Romulan Dreadnaught pack and now am getting gear for my Falchion. In all MMOs I have played (Lineage II and WoW) I preferred tanking to DPSing. I really like the way STO mechanics work, where the party roles are not as clear cut, where tanks also dps or heal and dpsers also tank or heal. But in order to get to a specific role in the STFs you need to be in an organized group, thus a fleet. So, I was looking for a Fleet to join, happened to read your thread in the STO forums, saw the videos and also read some of your replies to people posting there, liked them, and here I am – if you will have me.Have you read the rules (the rules and regulations are located under the ‘About Us’ tab at the top):
