This is how we communicate between our (4) Fed and (1) KDF fleets. It isn’t a rule or requirement, but things will seem very quiet in the fleet without it.

Fleet Housekeeping

There are some important fleet / armada changes as well as a ton of game news to cover this Sunday! Also, don’t forget to claim your free giveaways in the Zen store! Details in fleet msg of the day and on our forums thanks to TBjarnason Here

First up, I am excited to announce that we have created a new KDF fleet and are working on getting it a place in the KDF Armada! In fact, if everything goes to plan, it should be in a Gamma position right under Orion Liberty fleet in just over 48 hours.

So, unless something happens within the next couple of days, our new fleet will be replacing the KDF Fleet House of T’sar. As a matter of due dilligence, I have sent an in game mail to their fleet leader explaining the situation and that we would be willing to help them find another place in the armada or a different armada should they become active again. Removing a fleet from any of the 44th Fleet Armadas is a big deal and we don’t do it very often or for just any reason. In this case, the fleet in question has not had anyone online since Feb. of 2020….almost a year. This made them the least active and thus the top candidate for removal and replacement.

Also, my deepest thanks to Orion Liberty Fleet for their consent in this matter and their help in making this a smooth transition!

Currently, the new KDF fleet is called 44th Imperial Squadron. We will be having a fleet naming contest just like with the 44th Epsilon fleet and soon all new KDF members will be sent to the new fleet just like with Epsilon. We will be announcing the naming contest soon. We will then have a fleet poll to decide our new KDF Fleet’s official name! The winner, just like last time will receive some extra keys and a unique forum ribbon as well as eternal glory! Details soon…

Lastly, I will need all 44th Assault Sqaudron members who have characters in the fleet that they don’t play often to move as many of them to the new fleet as possible. Otherwise, we will run into the situation where we will run out of space in the main KDF fleet and then we will be having to have members going back and forth between fleets for access to the fleet stores and holdings.

So, anyone who wants to bring a KDF character over to the new fleet, don’t wait! Act now! It is open for business!

Xaxial’s STO Hardcore Challenge!

Our own fleetmate Xaxial has put up a new challenge for fleet members Xaxial’s STO Hardcore Challenge!

This will be a great challenge to go along with anyone creating a new KDF character in the coming days!

There will be a forum ribbon for anyone who can complete the challenge. There are quite a few rules (please be sure to read them) to make it a real challenge and it is very much based on the honor system, so please no cheating.

And yes, I am still working out the ribbon situation…. I haven’t forgotten. 🙂

Any fleeties need help with a particularly difficult mission? Or do you just need to speed run a mission a few times to get a full set for your build? Simply request a speed run in the 44th-diplo and we will get a group together to help you! Whether it be for farming drops or completing Endeavors, a team is only a request away!

O Captain! My Captain!

In the past the Admiralty has (and still does) nominate members for promotion to Captain. However, we can’t be everywhere all the time. In the 44th Fleet, the rank of Captain has generally been awarded as a “thank you” to fleet members who have gone above and beyond. This includes large contributions of dilithium, doffs, expertise, EC, etc. Or consistently helping other fleet members with missions or teaming up for TFOs. Crafting items for fleet members. Demonstrating unselfish generosity. Offering to help fleet members get their new alts into the fleet. Answering fleet members questions and trying to help out in general. Has been active in the fleet for several months. The list goes on and on……

So if any 44th Fleet member would like to nominate someone in the fleet that they believe really deserves the rank, feel free to contact myself or another member of the Admiralty (Commodore, Vice Admiral or Fleet Admiral) and let us know and we will look into it! 🙂
