Important note for those of us who like the Fleet (starbase) Advanced Andorian phasers, which are unlocked for your character if you own any of the three Andorian Khyzon class escorts. These Fleet phasers will disappear soon from the Fleet inventory.
So get them NOW if you still want a set. See the full Arc notice >here<.

"Boldly bashing Borg to bits since 2012..."Always great info on the forum. I used those weapons briefly but with upgrading I abandoned them. Too expensive to upgrade. imho the best thing was the visual. Nice color.
Indeed, unlike say Spiral Wave Disruptors the Andorian Phasers beams and cannons are identical to standard phasers (proc) with the only difference their blue color and, in my opinion, much better sound (the screech of antiproton gets really on my nerves).
Also the blue Andorian phasers sync quite well with the Quantum Phase 3pc set for theme builds. As such it’s sufficient to buy just 3-4 beams or cannons, as the other slots can be used for the Quantums or (universal) omni-beam.
According to the official announcement the only way you can get them in the future is via lockboxes and/or the dilithium store, but of lesser quality. Need to do some testing but the current Fleet Advanced phasers are still a bit cheaper to re-engineer for better quality/mods.
This is probably also a first hint that T6 Andorian escorts/raiders may be coming (yay!) and perhaps some new unique mod for Andorian phasers which, hopefully, will be retrofitted to already owned ones.
