My ship designs

Since I love drawing starships and designing my own, I have decided to share some of these designs with you and ask what you think of them.

So here is my first design:

Armament: 24 phaser arrays type XIII, 4 retractalbe rotating pulse phaser defensive turrets, 10 pulse phaser cannons, 8 forward rapid firing torpedo launchers, 5 aft rapid firing torpedo launchers (500 photon, 250 quantum and 100 transphasic torpedoes) and 3 spinal lance phaser cannons.
Defensive systems: High capacity regenerative shielding, Regenerative ablative armor (50 cm), Ultra-heavy structural integrity field.
Special features: Cloaking device.
Support craft: 60x Federation Dragoon fighters, 36x workbees, 24x type 9 shuttles, 18x type 11 shuttles, 9x Venture class scout ships and 6x Danube runabouts stored in 2 shuttlebays + 1x Captain’s yacht.

Propulsion: Two Quantum-slipstream warp cores (one in saucer section and other in secondary hull/stardrive section), 3 warp nacelles + 3 retractable auxiliary warp nacelles, 5 impulse engines (2 on saucer section and 3 on secondary hull).
Armament: 24 phaser arrays type XIII (+2 type XIII phaser arrays at secondary hull usable after separation), 6 retractalbe rotating pulse phaser defensive turrets, 10 pulse phaser cannons, 8 forward rapid firing torpedo launchers, 4 aft rapid firing torpedo launchers (500 photon, 250 quantum and 100 transphasic torpedoes) and 3 spinal lance phaser cannons.
Defensive systems: Primary and secondary high capacity regenerative shielding, Regenerative ablative armor (50 cm), Ultra-heavy structural integrity field.
Special features and abilities: Phased cloaking device, secondary deflector dish and saucer separation (both parts are capable to function independently).
Support craft: 36x workbees, 24x type 9 shuttles, 18x type 11 shuttles, 9x Venture class scout ships and 6x Danube runabouts stored in 2 shuttlebays + 1x Captain’s yacht; 60x Federation Dragoon fighters stored in fighter bays; ability to accomodate several smaller sized starships like scout ships, frigates, escorts and some cruisers inside docking hangar located at the aft section of ship.

That’s it for now. Hope you’ll like it. Third remake of this ship is already under way and it should be finished soon. That remake will have some extra weaponry added and instead of having 3 nacelled configuration it will be probably standard one with 2 nacelles. However, third nacelle will be replaced with Nebula like mission pod. She will also have saucer separation ability just like second variant. She was supposed to be main ship featured in my ST book I’m working on, but instead she will be one of the many new classes I’m going to introduce. Her original designation was Dragonstar class, but since that particular name is belonging to my main featured ship, I have renamed her to Overlord class (after Overlord tank from Command & Conquer Generals – one of my favorite strategy games). With that being said I’m now leaving you to write your opinions on it. Advises on improvements are also welcome 😎
