silver playerI am a huge Trekker, or Niner (not so much a fun of TOS, although I do recognize its importance in creation of this fantastic universe) and that is the reason why I always liked ST games. Bridge Commander being my fav. This is the reason why I installed STO, despite all its deficiencies, as soon it went F2P. I have the game for three years already, but due to real life obligation I am playing it whenever I get some time (rarely). I am searching for a fleet which is catered for a casual play, so that I do not need to be worried if one or two month absence will throw me out, and take my contributions (it happened once) That is why I decided to apply to the 44th. What particularly brought the 44th to my attention is the the back-story, and fantastic world-building done by the Fleet admins 🙂

This is used to communicate with our 44th Fleet, 44th Delta Fleet and our 44th Assault Squadron (KDF) – we don’t use the game provided fleet channel.

As a new Ensign you will be stationed for 4 weeks in the 44th Delta Fleet, which we are still building up.
After your promotion to Lieutenant you have the option to be transferred to the main 44th Fleet, or ask for unrestricted access to all unlocked Tier 3 and 5 stores.For a promotion to Lieutenant you must meet 3 requirements:
1) Must have either logged into the game or posted on our 44th forum at least once during the review period of 1 month (which starts today);
2) Have an in-game leaderboard donation score of 50,000 fleet credits minimum (either by one, or by your total alts combined);
3) Must be in good standing with the fleet.
Full access to the 44th forum has now been unlocked.

"Boldly bashing Borg to bits since 2012..."Thank you Marcase. I am looking forward to the membership in the Fleet, and to contribute to it. A question, when (time) usually most of Fleet events take place? I do ask that as I am from Europe (CET), so usually I play in the evening.
Because of so many different players from different timezones (I’m from Europe too), we rarely do planned events. Just log on and ask around in chat if you want to do a fleet run; we’re always doing something – Borg STFs, Defera ground, joint missions/episodes you name it.
We’re a casual fleet with no ‘must attend’ meetings or reporting – we found we are more active as a fleet when we’re playing when we are online and in the mood. 😀
