Yeah well still no word on the waiver still and it’s been about more than twenty days. Even the Colonel asked my recruiters about me if I’m ready to go or not and that was last Thursday, the 19th, and they said no so i figured, or hoped, the Colonel may have sped it up a little but nope.

So I’m still waiting. Really hope to get 19K, and be a M1 Armor Crewman, hopefully. And plan to serve twenty years or so, hopefully, if not forced to retire after 15 or among other things lol.

Been doing research too, getting very familiar with the M1s and if I’m lucky, I could get to serve on board a M1A3, once manufactured four years from now. If not, well, most likely within my service time.

All there is on the M1A3 is obvious equipment upgrades, but the only big change known at the moment is the turbine engine for a diesel engine.

Lets not forget, you also have to pay for PSN too in order to play any online games. So STO on console with the fact you cant use your PC account on the consoles, plus paying for online fees for both XboxLive and PSN, is a big turn off for me, especially since I have a Lifetime membership on STO, only cuz I got it at the time they were doing the pay2play before switching back to free2play with tons of ingame purchases. I wont deny, I did buy a year long PSN membership, only cuz I do sometimes play CoD…sometimes…and Elder Scrolls Online, but with all that packed away, I feel like I wasted money 🙁

Oh well, with me going active duty and likely stationed somewhere with all the housing and utilities paid for by the military, I suppose I could buy another year with PSN, unless they got a lifetime somewhere. I know something like that costs a lot but technically you would be saving money in the long run.

Still, unable to port main account from PC to console, especially if you DO have lifetime sub, AND must pay for Xbox Live and PSN in order to play online, still bogus imo but meh. At least its not like some other mmo games on console, where you have to pay XboxLive and PSN in order to play any online game, AND pay for the mmo’s pay2play subs…now THAT’S dumb, imho.

Havent been on for awhile, not because of training, not yet anyways, but cuz the decision is coming up real soon, hopefully a few days or tomorrow, and when I do leave for training, family also plans on moving out of this place in June-July, so I wont be around for the move but I did get practically everything packed, including my computer. So I cant hop on STO for a while, just posting this from my phone. And I can already tell there is going to be quite a bit of changes when I get back, ha go figure.

I am super ecstatic right now. I scored higher on my ASVAB test than I did back when I was 17yo and my GT score basically went up…

I thought I had to get a certain score on the ASVAB to qualify for TANK CREW, especially on the Abrams Tanks that we have currently, but no. It’s actually the GT score you need to qualify. Recruiter checked it up for me after I finally got done with MEPS today… I totally qualify!

And my Recruiter was like, ‘Oh yeah, I drove one of those Abrams, they are awesome.’

I say, ‘I don’t want to just DRIVE one, I want to operate and fire the main gun!!!’ xD

So yeah, when the last couple things get done, waiver goes to Company General, interview with Battalion Commander, then I’ll go back to MEPS, pick my job, swear back in and boom, I’m off.
    All I can say is…

IT IS ABOUT TIME, WOOT!! I want to be a TANKER!

Guess I still got some typos to do and at the moment I went with Klingons because there is no level restriction. If I went with borg, no one below level…40 something i think, would be able to play it until they reach that level. Suppose it wouldnt matter but in a sense we’re hitting all level bases for a ‘fleet ad’ sort to speak, right?

I left it open for anyone to throw their characters or ships in if they like, so far all I had was Marcase, as Soolin for the Fleet Adm of course, and USS Amsterdam. Good thing about Foundry missions is you can withdraw them to prevent people from playing them while making changes or make the changes while it is still up and publish it, thus the changes will eventually override the older version. So if typos to fix yeah, if other fleeties want to throw their ship/character in there some where, can figure something out. If more ship, then the KDF force will be larger lol…otherwise it would look like an invasion xP.

They dont have a duplicate option, as far as I am aware of, to duplicate an entire mission…but if I could, I would make an elite version of this with the Borg instead of the Klingons and try to mix it up a little.

And i would wait till Marcase brings up the easter egg hunt, this way when you play it again, you can join the fun. I dont know if pictures are necessary but either way, Marcase has an idea for the reward and all that jazz, my only part in the hunt quest is to figure out which TWO of the SEVEN easter eggs will lead to future missions :P.

Other than that, I appreciate the input, I will see about expanding the target zones and see if maybe I can change it up a bit because some elements were not working unless I had something the player interact with in order to make it work right and i dont know. I know there are ways to make it better but eh.

But for now I may not be able to mess with it for a bit until I get home, i am at a hotel provided by the MEPS, woot, and if everything goes according to plan, I will be shipped out to training in two-three weeks. So I may not even be able to work on the two future missions, since I havent even started lol. Working on foundry missions take a lot out of ya.

I wouldn’t mind some Mirror Ships xD. I just never really tried to open a whole lot of lock boxes really, just couldn’t really do it, plus the 500 zen allowance a month just some times isn’t enough.

But yeah, it might not be up quite yet. I only found it because I searched for it in the Review Content, since I have signed up to review new content that way but yeah, could take a bit.

THE 44th FLEET FOUNDRY MISSION HAS BEEN PUBLISHED!!!

Published a dozen times actually. For some reason I can only find typos and errors while I actually play the mission…. Like how I can only see typos and errors AFTER I post, lol. So I had to re-publish so many times while I slowly played through the mission myself.

But the mission is now up!! Just go to the Foundry and search for ’44th’. It should show up very easily. If it does not appear, it might take a bit for it to appear to you guys whereas it appeared right away for me.

    Anyways.

SEVEN EASTER EGGS ARE IN THE GAME!! 6 were originally created by me, 1 was added due to a suggestion by Damix :P.

Also the USS InDubioVeritas is also there, appearing directly behind the Galiant. Plus there is a Honored Members section once you access the Necheyev’s database on the 44th Fleet on the Necheyev’s Bridge.

Marcase, feel free to take it away on the Easter Egg hunt 😛

Well at the moment, Foundry is closed off until they iron out 11.5, so that may not be until next week, go figure. Thus I can’t get into it and add anymore details.

Damix has already provided me a couple of things I can add. I decided to have the ship, USS InDubioVeritas just appear in along with the rest of the 44th Fleet near the Galiant. Maybe leave a historical note of such ship in the Database when the player pulls up the 44th Fleet history on the Necheyev. Something of, Honored Officers or something like that. And mention that the Player who was in 44th Fleet, that played Tyler Durden and commanded the USS InDubioVeritas is a fallen officer who will never be forgotten. I mean, as long as this Foundry mission stays published and is played a lot, never will be.

And of course the other funny easter egg he mentioned, hehe. I have to figure a way to incorporate it because I’m not 100% sure if the Foundry has it. But I could make something up. Hopefully.

So whatever you have in mind, PM it to me and I’ll see what I can do, surely I’ll add it to the list of additions for the 44th Fleet Foundry Mission before it gets published.

I’m cool with it honestly. I wouldn’t offer to be Game Master or bring this up if I didn’t think we can do it. That’s why I offered we test it out, thus why its a TINY map and all that jazz.

Thing is, its still Alpha/Beta I think, not sure which yet, so the other factions don’t come rushing at you with hordes of ships or constantly attack you or things like that. There is combat, so that way you can defeat/conquer the other faction, just not much ‘retaliation’ just yet. All the AI factions really do is colonize a number of systems and then that’s it.

It’s not much fun doing it by yourself, because you constantly advance in technology, have little conflicts, and just basically build a massive fleet without any sort of resistance nor any attempts to slow you down. So it gets a bit redundant.

But if converted into an RP style like this, and like DnD style (just not with all the crazy STATS, that will take FOREVER to create…) just … Someone takes charge of something, like Starfleet Command for example, or the Embassy. And ANYONE can be a starship captain. So basically,

When Sol finishes building the Cruiser I (aka NX Class), Starfleet Commander can either assign someone to it or someone can take it. More realistic, the Starfleet Commander would put someone in charge of it. And who ever is the Commanding officer of that Cruiser I, can either name it themselves, or the Starfleet Commander can. And with the available information that I, the Game Master, provides…the CO of that said ship can choose what course of action he should do that would benefit the Federation.

Or if we played the Romulans, what would a Romulan Commander of a Destroyer vessel do if there was a Faction, say the Klingons, attempting to colonize a Huge population value system SO CLOSE to Romulan space. (For example, a System with a population of 425+, i’ve seen some systems ranging almost 600 without MOON HABITATION technology.) Any system with a HIGH population value, is capable of pooling a LOT of labor force into INDUSTRY and ENERGY, that way they can build structures faster, and power very important structures as well.

Another example. If say they did make the factions able to fight back, build fleets and such. Let’s say we were the Dominion, and all four factions, Federation, Klingons, Romulans and Cardassians were against us. We lost our homeworld, the nebula of sorts. But we were able to acquire a system with a population of 525…and when we added Moon Habitation, we increased pop over 600. We have 4 Ship yards already, and most of the basic structures powered. That gives us a LOT OF ENERGY left over for ORBITAL DEFENSES and PLANETARY SHIELDS. To the point we have a planet capable of holding out against enemy fleets and build out own massive fleet to fight back and retake what we lost.

So in a sense right now, the idea I am presenting is, we take this game in the condition it is right now, and instead of doing multiplayer where I’m playing Klingons, someone is Romulans, someone else is Federation, like that sorts… we play One faction like its DnD. I’m the game master, you guys are in control of key elements. Someone is in charge of Starfleet Command, other is System Management, Research and Embassy. And ANYONE ELSE who joins, not just those 4 key elements, can be Starship Captains. Even those 4 that have those important jobs, can still be Starship Captains. (Honestly there isn’t much in research to do…its really automated so technically we don’t really need anyone doing it. But who ever is holding that position could determine what technology we focus on first, rather than trying to research all 6 technologies at the same time.)

That’s basically the idea I’m presenting, is a RP game in a game lol. Least until they make the other factions more capable of fighting back, then that might make things a little tricky.

But this test run could help us determine what really is important, what is not, and how to make it better and more understandable. Thus make it easier to play for everyone 😀

Sum it up, think of it as DnD, but Star Trek based off of Birth of the Federation, there are positions/jobs available, and for right now, I’m the game master 😛

Think of it as you are in control of certain resources, but not control of the game entirely. Details come to you when they are revealed, thus you have the option to choose what action to take. Depending on what job you have 😛

Well, when ever Foundry is available after the 11.5 release, I can add a few more details to it since you just mentioned a couple things that I would gladly add.

So please, I would love those details.

    A. Info about Tyler Durden and what the U.S.S. InDubioVeritas looks like or what his NPC Character looks like, if at all possible. From there I can figure out his role and where I can place him. Maybe have him as a NPC character on board the Necheyev/44th Flagship with extra details on the 44th Fleet. Which ever you think would be preferred to provide. (I already have these details of the 44th Fleet added: Everything in ‘About Us’ drop down menu, the About Us, Our History and 44th Charter, except Rules and Regulations. And both Federation and Klingon Armadas of the 44th. That’s about it.)

Unless you can think of a small conversation that the player will have with Tyler Durden, something Tyler would say and what the player would say in response or in reply. (Sadly must state that replies are very character limited. But I have made it where, in two conversations, one with Phoenix and other with Soolin, that there are 2-3 reply buttons that are ‘extended replies’ but all lead to the same next dialogue text. So meh.)

    B. I was going to add more to the Database on the 44th Fleet but didn’t get around to it as I stayed up until 2:30 am xD, wanted to get as much additional content in before the 11.5 Release. So, whatever Lore you would like to add, please let me know!

    C. Please do tell me this idea of easter egg. I can either replace one of the easter eggs (I ran out of ideas and one of them is kinda silly, kinda not, but that’s okay.) Or add it in and say, oh there’s 7 Easter Eggs, and only ONE map has TWO. Good luck 😀

So please, throw the PM at me with the requested info 😀 And when ever the Foundry is available, I will add these additions before publishing 🙂

    Futher Additions *ADDED*

    Additions:

Added some more effects to Engineering Deck. My poor ship D:

The Defiant Interior Map had a second portion to it (If you go into a Defiant map interior, you would know what I mean.) So I decided to create another map, so instead of going directly to the Galiant’s Bridge from the Engineering Deck, you would have to use the Jefferies tube, instead of the turbolift, to reach Deck One. You will then walk past my ready room, and other things as well.

    ADDED EASTER EGGS 😀

YUP!! That is correct!!! I added Easter Eggs 😀 There is 1 for each map!!! Total of 6 EASTER Eggs!!

It does not matter if you know how many there are or not, it is finding them ALL that will be tricky. Some of them will be easy, some of them not so much. There are almost NO hints to any of them. (maybe one will have a hint, I mean…a flashing console pillar to a room sealed off by a forcefield, to lower the forcefield…to a room with nothing in it…that’s probably a hint, no?)

Either way, not ALL of them will be easy to find. But I will say this. Two of them may lead to FUTURE Missions!! That’s right!! Two of those easter eggs may lead to future missions! I will gladly disclose which ones they are later when some if not all members of the 44th have found the correct Easter Eggs :D.

Though I think one of them you guys might question my mental state, haha. Either way, there are definitely easter eggs in every map. Two of them would require quite a bit of deviation from objectives, lots of traveling.

At the end of the mission, I will state that there were Easter Eggs in the mission and how many there were. This will encourage players to play the mission AGAIN to find the easter eggs, or all of them, if they have found some already. And if they cannot find them all and would like to know, I will tell them they can mention if they found them all or not in the REVIEW and ask where they all are in the REVIEW. I will of course, Mail them privately, and give them hints ;). But I will also ask that they do NOT disclose the locations of those easter eggs in the REVIEW of the mission. As that would not be fun at all!!

Can’t wait to upload this mission, hope you guys enjoy it!!

    https://startrek.44thfleet.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/xJamesmaxwell-1-e1476046871332.png.pagespeed.ic.ZpAl4Os5nd.webp

So i have reason to believe that because the patch is coming tomorrow, it is refusing to publish the mission, as it continues to give me ‘publish failed’ after it sits at 50% for a few minutes

But to test it, after work in going to create a test mission with only a tiny bit to do but fills all the necessary tasks to publish and then try to publish it. If it fails then I’ll assume that it won’t publish until the 11.5 is released and probably patched on Thursday. In which case, I’ll just keep working on the mission, fine tune it, maybe add more to the story.

Sucks though, really wanted to get it out. But if i can’t yet then I’ll work now on the warp core issue. Maybe reword it a bit since the Galiants warp core is over loading, not really a breach, not until it goes critical xP. Or something.

Maybe even place the jamming satellite on another map that you warp to or whatever. Just anything to expand the mission.

Hell, I’ll probably add more info when player looks up the 44th fleet in the Necheyev’s (Oddys bridge) database. Just something while i wait to publish the darn thing. 🙁
