Welcome to the fleet!:)
Beginner guides on our website is a good place to start, but don’t hesitate to ask a question in the discord builds section.
No idea about the presence for your time zone, but generally there is always someoene online.
Also make sure to join 44th-diplo chat channel in-game to make sure you don’t miss any in-game fleet chat.
See you in-game.
February 12, 2022 at 4:18 am #436125Ouch, let us know how this resolves. You are not the first one that got burned by their bad design of the exchange system. Fingers crossed.
Welcome to the fleet.
February 11, 2022 at 6:51 am #436116You change it for zen?
You can exchange 500 dil for 1 Zen at the moment, although you may have to wait until someone posts Zen for sale: https://sto.fandom.com/wiki/Dilithium_Exchange
I assumed that I’d need to buy consoles and equip from fleet or something
If you want to buy from the fleet stores, tactical consoles from the fleet Spire are a great option. Vulnerability Locators have a critical chance and damage boost. Each one is 50k fleet credits and 8500 dil.
You will also need dilithium when upgrading your gear, and great way to do it is by using the Phoenix Universal Tech Upgrades. They are obtained from the Phoenix Prize Packs (stack of 10 will cost 40k dil from the dil store). Currently, the event is running so you get one for free, but if you’ll want more – you’ll have to pay dil. Phoenix upgrade can be picked from the uncommon token so if you don’t want anything from the rare/very rare token, you can exchange them for uncommon token and pick the Phoenix upgrades.
You will notice how fast and easy it is to burn those 350k dilithium so make sure the item you’ll upgrade is your long term choice. So keeping it until you are sure what you want to spend it on is also a good option.
February 11, 2021 at 4:15 pm #431176Hi Pero, I’m getting an error when I try to send you an invite. Can you check if your character’s @ handle is correct – could it be it is missing numbers, for example: Stormero#1234. Which faction are you?
February 11, 2021 at 3:06 pm #431173Hopefully, this gets patched tomorrow – they announced there could be maintenance downtime to fix some newly introduced bugs. I saw at least 2 other fleet members mentioning they encountered the same problem you described. I haven’t tried claiming one since I’m levelling a t6 ship which scales to my character’s level.
January 28, 2021 at 5:34 am #430956Of course, what is the character name(s)?
January 15, 2021 at 1:13 pm #430699Hey, there! Looking forward to your new build, there are still stories going around about the legendary flying pancake. See you in-game.
December 12, 2020 at 9:15 pm #430261It would be best to finish upgrade projects first, yeah, but they will eventually get completed so we are not in a hurry. On the other hand, to get the gear we need fleet provisions, which are obtained via those smaller projects. Now, to buy gear from the fleet, it doesn’t have to be unlocked in the Epsilon Fleet – map invite to our fleet that already unlocked it is enough. When you have a character in Epsilon and buy a gear from Delta map, provision will be spent from the Epsilon fleet (provided that you have Lieutenant rank or above – access to fleet stores).
Also, I highly suggest that you only donate fleet-only dilithium obtained from the Klingon tour-of-duty 10/10 reward (40k Fleet Dilithium Voucher). This is because you will need dilithium to buy gear, upgrade, convert to zen, etc, and it isn’t imperative that Epsilon Fleet is completed – it eventually will be finished, but we unlocked the gear in other fleets so it isn’t a priority. The main benefit of Epsilon is an opportunity to donate to fleet projects – with so many completed fleets, players find it hard to find a project to donate to..and also it was a necessity because we were running out of space.
Also, be careful when you donate to one special Research Lab project – check if it requires fleet marks or fleet credits – you could donate currency that you didn’t mean to donate. This project is a known source of frustration.
It is a good idea to have a guide for fleet beginners. Maybe we could add it to the FAQ – Beginners Guide, or something similar. Also, Akula is opened for new topics in his Sunday supplemental report so.. *nudge nudge wink wink*.
November 28, 2020 at 5:36 am #430166Welcome to the fleet! 🙂
Feel free to ask if you need any help and I hope you’ll have a good time in the 44th.
I’m a mass effect fan, too – looking forward to the legendary edition next year.
See you in-game!
November 9, 2020 at 4:42 am #429986New grind event coming, are you sure? ^^
But yeah, taking a break is advised from time to time. I’m having my eyes on the new AC, but usually tend to wait at least 6 months until they fix all the bugs (if it’s a new game). But on the other hand, AC games aren’t known to be buggy on launch?
November 2, 2020 at 7:13 pm #429859Hi, thanks for choosing the 44th! Can you tell me your character name and @ handle so I can send you an invite? For example, mine is Jerin@damix4.
October 21, 2020 at 4:17 am #429663Thanks for posting this. I see that it helped some players, but there seems to be a bug/issue that still prevents people from seeing it in the Zen store after purchasing it. This is the reply I received from the support:
Hello Captain,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
My apologies for the delayed response due to the high volume of support tickets sent by our players. I understand that you’re having trouble with your Epic Starter Pack. Upon review of your concern, I see that we have received similar reports from other affected players. Our development team is aware of the issue and working on a fix. When we have more information about this issue, we will be sure to let the community know through our official news page and forums. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. If you need assistance with anything else, don’t hesitate to contact us again by sending a newer ticket as we’re always here to help.
I appreciate your patience and kind understanding.
Regards,
GM Zildross
Game MasterOctober 21, 2020 at 4:08 am #429662Sounds good, I’ll try to join if possible. I think having fleet tfo event on schedule basis is something people would like to participate in, and is a feature I’d like 44th to have. Those bigger fleet meetings were always a success so I’m sure there will be enough interest for this type of event, too.
October 17, 2020 at 7:31 am #429611Welcome to the fleet, and nice to meet you! Hope you’ll find this fleet a good place for your characters. See you in-game.
October 11, 2020 at 7:09 am #429486I recently had a “space Abraham Lincoln” type of encounter. Didn’t know how to react to resolve this..rather tense situation.
