Besides the ship, any other winter stuff (kits, etc) are worth the grind?

Vengeance is really nice, and if I were to have only one lockbox ship, it would be the Vengeance. It is very versatile. I played with set ups that gave me ~120k DPS in ICA (with my poor piloting, this is very good). I eventually settled on a build that gets 60-70k DPS, but is very hard to kill even while watching TV (QOL choices :). The pets are insane – I get 15-20k DPS from them routinely.

It does handle like a drunk whale. It’s not really a problem with beams. I have seen builds with cannons, but you really have to be good, IMO. I also have seen people use DBBs quite successfully. You can turn it into a nice single target all gank setup.

BTW, I know it’s not on your list, but have you looked at Miradorn? It’s a lot of fun.

Regarding the random queues – I agree that they need to do something with empty queues. But with the number of clueless people in any given instance now, when they are actually able to pick one they maybe have some familiarity with, imagine what it will be like when it’s random. This must be the promised difficulty increase 🙂

OK, I went on Tribble and upgraded it. Epic version does get[W->S], so it’s the upgrade tooltip that is incorrect.

I have not upgraded it yet, as I don’t want to waste the ultimate upgrade if there is no effect. I might try it on tribble and see what happens.

 

To clarify – the screenshot shows the tooltip from the upgrade dialog. So maybe this is the part that’s broken and it would be different with a real item.

Welp, after 120k dil down the drain, I got, 22 Uncommon, 12 Rare, and 6 VR.
You’d think I should have 3 or so UR, and 1 Epic with this kind of trend, but alas…

What other things are worth getting there? I know the red battery device is good, Cochran’s shotgun too, anything else?

The website looks and performs great. Scrolling is smooth as silk.

It’s a minor personal thing, but is it possible to switch to a lighter theme? I could not find anything in settings.

Thank you. That makes me very happy for too reasons 😀 – I don’t have to grind another character, and I did not grind another character and their rep to find out there is no benefit after the fact lol.
