Main Character’s Name: Draknar@draknar986
Real Name: Adam
Age: 27
Location: MD, USA. Between DC and Baltimore.
Are you Silver/gols/ or Lifetime?: Silver, though I originally purchased the game.
Tell us about yourself (trek/game history, whatever you want us to know about you): Played almost every major MMO out there. Played STO at release but fell out of it when my friends stopped playing.I have a level 42 Klingon Engineer (I think I was going up battle cruisers). While it would probably be nice to continue with him, I am not opposed to switching to Federation for the purposes of the fleet. I prefer Tankish and Support roles over DPS, even in PvP.
I don’t remember much at all about this game, so general guidance is much appreciated!
Why did you choose the Mighty 44th: Invitation from rdm1958 in response to my forum thread of having no idea what I’m doing.
Have you read the rules?: Indeed
Are you willing to use Teamspeak?: Of Course.
July 26, 2012 at 3:12 pm #155932i’m happy to see you applied. i know we have some klingon characters that would be really excited to have you join them. i have found this group to be really helpful, just ask.
and i would suggest volunteering for some fleet missions where you would find the STFs to get you some fleet marks.
July 26, 2012 at 3:19 pm #155933Great! After reading so many complaints about how Klingons don’t have equal content I was a bit worried I wouldn’t be able to find fellow Klingon players.
I guess my first order of business is to find out how I should spend all my skill points.
July 26, 2012 at 3:38 pm #155934no hurry. i would take my time. i forget who is big on the klingon side here, but post a question and i’m sure you will get some good responses.
July 26, 2012 at 3:40 pm #155935Greetings, and thanks for applying.
I’ve sent you an invite, so you should be receive it when you log in. In the meantime, please read this thread to get more info about the fleet: (you should be able to access it as soon as I change your permissions)
http://startrek.44thfleet.com/forum/index.php?f=12&t=30&rb_v=viewtopicSince you are on the Klingon side, it’s especially important to join the private fleet channel. It is global and works on both fed and klingon side. If you don’t join it, be prepared to listen to the grasshoppers. Just so you know, we have far more feds than klingons. I think we would be best described as a Fed fleet with Klingon alts. That said, we ARE working on our KDF base. I have 2 KDF characters myself at max level, and I love me my BOP.
July 27, 2012 at 7:27 pm #155936You guys were incredibly helpful in-game. I doubt I would have gotten very far before getting frustrated and /ragequiting without your help, thanks so much!

Great to see a new fleetmate with an interest in the KDF side of the house. The 44th is a great fleet with lots of helpful members; I’d be helpful too but I’m not especially savvy at game stuff 🙂 .
If you were a fed player first and foremost I’d tell you that the KDF starbase is a much better location to survey the galaxy from unless you are a fan of gardening 😀 . We haven’t got the interior design project complete yet but when it is it will be awesome. Since you already know this to be true, welcome.
44th assault is by nature a slower burn project than 44th fleet. We have made great progress in spite of having a fairly small team and I’ve had a good bit of fun. It’s nice to hook up with the rest of the team for a fleet mark event and make projects happen; I’ve learned a bit from the others along the way.
